Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Descriptions
WI-BRIDGE media co verter is desig ed to
co vert 100BASE-FX fiber to 100Base-TX copper
media or vice versa.
It is primarily desig ed for
large, higher speed/ ba dwidth dema di g work
groups that require expa sio of the Ether et
etwork. It ca exte d the co ve tio al 10M
Ether et or 10/100 fast Ether et to 2km-120km
via the fast Ether et fiber optical li e.
It is high-performa ce, cost effective a d flexible
solutio s for a wide ra ge of applicatio s i the
field of broadba d WAN established by data
etwork operators. It ca be i serted i to
rack-mou t chassis or i serted i to sta dalo e
shell.
