SAFETY INFORMATION

Read this manual thoroughly before ﬁrst use. It contains important

information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance

of the appliance. Keep these instructions for future reference and

pass them on to possible new owners of the appliance.

1. Use the appliance only as described in this manual. Using the

appliance for other purposes may lead to hazards.

2. Before connecting the appliance, ensure the voltage indicated

on the rating plate of the appliance (120 V ~ 60 Hz) matches

your local voltage.

3. Do not use the appliance with an electrical extension cord or

multi-plug as they increase the risk of a ﬁre / electric shock.

4. This appliance is intended for household use only. It is not

intended for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.

5. DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION: To reduce the risk of

electric shock, do not use the appliance near a body of

water such as a swimming pool, bathtub, vase or pond, or in

humid environments such as a damp basement. Do not place

any objects ﬁlled with liquids, such as vases, near or on the

appliance. Do not place the appliance next to a window or

expose it to dripping or splashing water. Do not immerse the

appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running

water (see CLEANING AND CARE). Never touch the appliance

or plug with wet hands or when standing in water or if the

appliance is wet. Keep the appliance at least 6.6 feet away from

water.

6. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and

by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities

or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance

in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children

must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance

must not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years

of age and supervised by an adult.

7. Always supervise children when they are near the appliance.

8. WARNING! Avoid contact with moving parts. Never insert

ﬁngers, pencils or other objects into the air inlets/outlets or any

openings on the appliance, as this may cause an injury, electric

shock, ﬁre, or damage to the appliance. Keep hands, hair,

clothing, and jewelry away from the air inlets/outlets during

operation to prevent injury.

9. Place the appliance upright on a stable level surface. Use the

appliance indoors, in a dry and well-ventilated area.

10. WARNING! Do not let the power cord hang over the edge

of a table or counter. Ensure that the power cord cannot be

tripped over or pulled by children or pets.

11. CAUTION! To prevent the risk of ﬁre, always keep the air

inlets and outlets on the appliance clear of obstructions. Do not

place the appliance directly against the wall or use it in close

proximity to curtains, tablecloths, etc.

12. WARNING! Always unplug the appliance from the wall

socket before moving, cleaning or storing it.

13. Never leave the appliance unattended during use or when it is

connected to the wall socket. Turn o and unplug the appliance

when it is not in use.

14. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, grip the plug and

pull it from the wall socket. Do not pull on the cord.

15. Do not move the appliance when in use.

16. Do not use the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or

ﬂammable fumes.

17. Do not place the appliance or any parts near open ﬂames or

next to cooking or other heating appliances.

18. Only use the appliance with the original accessories and parts

supplied. The use of accessories or ﬁttings other than those

supplied with this appliance may result in an injury, ﬁre or

damage and will void the warranty.

19. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer’s authorized service center.

20. DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION! This appliance has no user-

serviceable parts. Never attempt to dismantle or repair the

appliance yourself. The warranty will not cover any claims for

damage due to mishandling.

21. WARNING! Never use a damaged appliance. Do not use the

appliance if it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged

in any manner. In case of malfunction or damage, unplug the

appliance and contact an authorized service center to arrange

a repair.

22. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage or injury

resulting from non-compliance with these instructions or any

other improper use or mishandling.

23. RISK OF SUFFOCATION! KEEP OUT OF REACH OF

CHILDREN – Keep all packaging materials out of the reach of

babies and children.

24. The optimum operating temperature range of the appliance is

32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).

POLARIZED PLUG

The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade

is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of

electric shock, this plug is intended to ﬁt into

apolarized outlet only one way. If the plug does

not ﬁt fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it

still does not ﬁt, contact a qualiﬁed electrician.

• Check for damage that may have occurred during transport.

If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance

and return it to your retail outlet immediately.

USING THE APPLIANCE

1. Place the fan upright on a dry, level and stable surface.

2. Plug the power cord ﬁrmly into a 120 V / 60 Hz wall socket.

3. To turn on the fan, push the control switch so that the nodule

on the switch is directly below the desired setting:

4. The fan oscillates through 70 degrees.

5. When you are not using the fan, push the control switch to the

o position 0 to turn it o and then unplug it to disconnect it

completely from the power supply.

CLEANING AND CARE

• WARNING! Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance

from the wall socket. Never immerse any part of the appliance

in liquid or spray water on it. Make sure liquids never get into

the electrical parts of the appliance.

• Do not use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire

brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the product.

1. Clean the fan regularly to ensure product longevity.

2. Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp, soft cloth with mild

detergent.

3. Dry thoroughly.

STORAGE

If you are not using the fan for a long period, store the appliance

upright in its original packaging or in a dust-free, dry environment.
