How

long

will

the

cutting

line

last?

The

life

the

cutting

line

depends

upon

the

type

surface

against

which

you

are

cutting.

The

line

specially-treated

for

longer

wear,

but

obviously

will

wear

faster

when

you

are

cutting

against

rocks,

bricks,

concrete,

etc.,

than

will

against

wooden

fences

trees.

Why

doesn’t

unit

have

ground

wire?

Unlike

many

electrical

appliances

that

have

the

three-pronged

plug

with

grounding

wire,

Weed

Eater

products

are

double-insulated

for

in¬

not

NOT.

When

such

What

the

purpose

the

metal

line

savers?

The

monofilament

line

generates

heat

against

the

rotating

head

during

operation

and

could

“weld”

the

exits.

This'“welding”

would

cause

the

cutting

line

bre'ak

frequently

and

also

cause

excessive

wear

the

head

exits.

The

metal

line

savers

are

designed

dissipate

this

heat

and

thus

prevent

the

“welding”

effect.
