batteryandcanmakethebatteryinoperable(requiringreplacement).
12.10 Donotattempttomodifyordisassemblethebattery,orperformany
diagnostics. This is extremely dangerous and can result in fire and
explosion.
12.11 Donotchargethemotorcyclewiththeignitionturnedon.
12.12 Theoperationaltemperaturerange for the battery is‐20°Cto45°C.
The temperature range for charging the battery is 0°C to 45°C. The
temperaturerangeforstorageofthebatteryis‐20°Cto35°C.Usingthe
motorcycleorchargingorstoringthebatteryoutsideofthestatedranges
willdamagethebattery.Iftheambienttemperatureisoutsidethestated
rangeforoperationorcharging,movethemotorcycletoaplacewhereit
will cool / warm and do not use or charge until the motorcycle
temperatureiswithinthestatedrange.

13. Electricalsafety
13.1 Only use the original charger and cables supplied with the motorcycle.
Useofotherchargersorcablesisdangerous.Replacefusesinthecharger
plugwiththesametype.
13.2 Onlyoncethechargerisconnectedtothemotorcycle,plugthecharger
intoa13Aoutlet.
13.3 Donotplugtheotherendintothe13Aoutletuntilthechargingcableis
connectedtothemotorcycle.
13.4 Thechargerlightsindicatethelevelofchargeinthebattery.
13.5 Noadaptationshouldberequiredtodomesticwiringalthoughensurethat
miniaturecircuitbreakers(MCBs)arefittedatthedistributionbox.Ifin
doubt,askanelectrician.
13.6 Neverchargethemotorcycleinthewet,orindampconditions.Never
leaveextensioncablesoutsideor on theground.Usinganyelectrical
appliance (including your motorcycle charger) in the wet is extremely
dangerousandcanleadtoseriousinjuryordeath.
13.7 Ifthemotorcycleisinvolvedinanaccident,andthebatterybox is
compromised,thereisaverysmallriskoffireandexplosion.Thebattery
boxislocatedbetweenthewheelsofthemotorcycle.
13.8 Ifthemotorcyclebecomeshottothetouch,startssmokingorgivesoffa
strangesmellyoushouldstopridingandmovetoasafedistancefromthe
motorcyclebeforecallingemergencyservices.Informemergencyservices
thatthemotorcycleuseslithiumionbatteries.
14. Vehiclemaintenance
14.1 You should clean your motorcycle regularly, using products specifically
designedformotorcycles.Donotuseroughorabrasivecleaningproducts
astheywilldamagethefinish.
14.2 Vehiclesparkedoutsidemustbecoveredwithawaterproofcoverinorder
toprotectfromsundamageandwateringress.
