1. INTRODUCTION

Four wheel steel rollator with footrest, equipped with two xed rear wheels

with brake and locking the wheels and the two front wheels swivel. It lets you

easily navigate through any surface, inside and outside the building. Handles

anatomical made of polyethylene, steel frame.

3. INDICATIONS

Rehabilitation supports are an ancillary equipment to facilitate tilting and moving

of patients with di󰀨erent types of motor disorders. They can be used as an aid for

patients after surgery (lower limbs) who are unable to use crutches, showing no

coordination disorders, patients with mild dysfunction of the lower limbs or weakness.

They are used in patients with in patients with impaired balance preventing them

from independent vertical position and locomotion, as well as various types of

circulatory dysfunction (e.g. intermittent claudication). Supports can also be used as

an aid for geriatric patients.

4. CONTRAINDICATIONS

Contraindications to the upright position, injuries and dysfunctions of upper limbs

preventing the patient from supporting themselves, impaired coordination and

perception.

5. USAGE

• The product is packed In folded position.

• After unpacking the package, check if it contains all parts in accordance with the list of

elements set out above.

• Ensure that all components have no visible damage. If any doubts, please contact the

manufacturer.

• Do not use the rollator until all parts are properly connected.

• Unfold the frame, pulling its front and back crosspiece. Set the frame on an even surface.

• Place your hand on the seat and transverse frame, push rmly and block the blockade (it is

placed on the side of the frame) until its automatic latch. Please, make sure that the safety

lever reached its ultimate position (Illustraton 8.).

• Remove the plugs from slots, place the screw on yoke of the frame stand so that the

marking on the screw head would be placed inside the slot. Place handle holder into

the guide of frame stand and screw in the blocking screw. Please, make sure that the

screws are screwed in tightly and that the both handle holder are at the same height.

• The tray can be xed on the seat. Place the tray on the seat so that the four latches

would slide into the seat’s slots. In this way the tray is protected against slipping of.

Then on the basket, should place the tray.

• Place the basket in the front part of the rollator.

• Hang it on the lashing placed below the seat proceed in reverse order.

6. SAFETY OF USE

• Before using the rollator, refer to this manual and keep it for future reference.

• At standstill and the use of seat should apply the locking rotation of the wheels both rear

wheels.

• The stand will not replace the wheelchair, the seat is used only for temporary resting or

transport the patient on a short distance.

• The rollaror is used only to provide rest to one user. Do not stand on it..

• The rollator should be used on even surfaces at an incline less than 5%

• With the rollator you can only use on surfaces where all four wheels touching the ground

are to use all of four wheels.

• Use of the product on the icy, wet, greasy, strongly gritty surfaces is unacceptable - it

creates a risk of falling.

• Before each use of this product:

- Perform visual inspection of all structural components of the product,

- Check the operation of the braking system. Squeeze the brake handles to see

if the brake pads are t properly to wheels and are able to stop rollator. Press the

handles down to activate the parking brake and check if it works properly,

- Carefully check the stability and condition of the support frame.

• Do not use the support in the event of any visible or perceptible damage (e.g. cracks in

the frame). It may cause an accident.

• The rollator is designed for users with a maximum weight of 110kg.

• Maximum weight that can be moved in the bag- 1,5kg.

• Do not leave the stroller with the user close to open sources of re.

• Be aware that the surface temperature of the upholstery and the frame parts may

be increased after exposure to the sun or other heat source. Furthermore, with low

temperatures there is a danger of overcooling metal parts of stroller. It may cause burns

or frostbite parts of the body.

• All repairs must be carried out by qualied personnel. And during the warranty period only

by the manufacturer’s service.

• Do not exceed the maximum height of the handles to push, rollator will lose stability.

• Push the rollator with both hands simultaneously in the direction of travel.

• Before using, make sure that all screws are tight.

• Make sure that the lock used to folding and unfolding that product work properly.

• Due to the possibility of jamming the ngers put extreme caution in the area of horizontal

hinge strut, fold-out footrest and side frame hinge.

• Longer edge of the holder has to be parallel to the direction of movement

• Handles should be located at a height that will provide comfort and a sense of security

for the user. It is important to ensure that both hands are positioned at the same height.

• To change the height of the handles unscrew the knob for xing handles, remove

washers, the screws and depending on the needs extend or shorten the frame handles.

• After adjusting the appropriate height, tighten the knob. (Illustration 8.)

• Make sure that the handle is properly tightened, so that it prevents movement of the

handles.

7. EVERYDAY USE AND MAINTENANCE

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT HANDLES

FOLDING

• In order to fold rollator for ease of transport, you must rst block rotation of the wheels

• Then it is necessary to remove the tray, basket for small items.

• turn the blockade lever upward.

• Draw the transverse frame upwards.

UNFOLDING

• Place your hand on the seat, push rmly and block the blockade (it is placed on the

side of the frame) until its automatic latch. Please, make sure that the safety lever

reached its ultimate position.

• Before each use check the operation of the braking system. Press the brake holders

to control whether the brake pads adhere to the wheel well and are able to stop the

rollator.

• Press the holders downward to activate the hand brake and check whether it operates

correctly.

BRAKE FORCE ADJUSTMENT

• The breaking force can be adjusted – screw or unscrew the thumb, which is nearby

Bowden cable. (Illustration 12.)

• Brake blocks cannot touch the ring of a wheel.

• When the brake force is adjusted, tighten the nut.

• After adjusting the braking force, it is important to check the operation of the braking

system.

• Squeeze the brake handle to check if the brake pads properly adhere and are able to stop

rollator. Then pull the handles down to apply the parking brake and check if it works properly.

• The rollator is equipped with multi-functional brake. The brake handle is located under

the rollator handle. It can operate as a standard brake as well as parking brake

• To use the standard brake, lift up the brake handle.

• To use a parking brake, push down the brake handle to the point where you can hear

the distinctive sound of inclusion brake (You should use in that same time both the right

and left brake).

• You should use in that same time both the right and left brake.
