Safety warnings
CAUTION! Risk of injury. The lling
aperture shall not be opened during use.
Read this instruction manual thoroughly
before using this appliance. Follow all the
safety instructions to avoid damage caused by
improper use.
Keep this instruction manual for future use.
Should this appliance be passed on to a third
party, this instruction manual must be included.
Use this appliance only in accordance with
these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the
appliance in any way.
This appliance can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance out of reach of children
when it is energized or cooling down.
Ensure the rated voltage shown on the rating
label corresponds with the voltage of the supply
mains.

The appliance must not be left unattended while
it is connected to the supply mains.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
Lay out the cord in such a way that no
unintentional pulling or tripping over it is
possible.
Always switch off the appliance and disconnect
from the socket outlet before lling it with water,
changing accessories or cleaning it.
The appliance has to be disconnected after use
and before carrying out user maintenance on the
appliance.
Do not submerge the appliance in water or other
liquids.
Protect the power cord against damages. Do
not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze
or bend it. Keep the power cord away from
hot surfaces and open ames and ensure that
nobody can pull on or trip over it unintentionally.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
power cord or plug, when the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. If the power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons in order to
avoid a hazard.

Do not insert foreign objects into the interior
of the housing. Do not dismantle or open
the appliance under any circumstances. No
warranty claims are accepted for damage
caused by improper handling.
Operate the appliance with the supplied parts
only to avoid the risk of injury.
Do not direct the steam jet at persons or
animals. Hot steam under high pressure can
cause serious injuries.
The liquid or steam must not be directed
towards equipment containing electrical
components, such as the interior of ovens.
The appliance is not to be used if it has been
dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or
if it is leaking.
Connect the power plug to an easily reachable
socket outlet so that in case of an emergency
the appliance can be disconnected immediately.
Pull the power plug out of the socket outlet to
completely switch off the appliance. Use the
power plug as the disconnection device.
This appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.

The appliance is with a British Standard plug.
In the event of an electrical overload the fuse
may blow. Have the fuse replaced by the
manufacturer or qualied service personnel.
For additional protection, we recommend the
use of a residual current device (RCD) with
a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA in
the electrical circuit supplying power to your
appliance.
Do not operate the appliance with an empty
water tank. Disconnect the supply mains when
the water reserve is used up.
Do not add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes,
oils or any other chemicals to the water tank as
this may damage the appliance or make it unsafe
for use. If you live in an area with hard water, we
recommend the use of distilled water.
Use extra caution when using the appliance to
clean stairs or other uneven surfaces.
Do not touch hot surfaces when using the
appliance. Let the accessories cool down before
changing them.
Do not steam at one spot for an extended period
of time to avoid damages to the surfaces.

Do not use the window wiper on a cold surface,
the sudden thermal change could cause the
surface to break. Warm the surface with the
steam jet thoroughly from a distance of about
40 cm.

On the appliance, the rating label and within these instructions you will nd among
others the following symbols and abbreviations. Familiarise yourself with them to
reduce hazards like personal injuries and damage to property.

Unpacking
DANGER! Risk of suffocation! Keep all packaging materials away from
children.
Unpack all parts and lay them on a at, stable surface. Remove all packing
materials.
Make sure the delivery contents are complete and free of any damage. If
you nd that parts are missing or show damage do not use the appliance but
contact your dealer. Using an incomplete or damaged appliance represents a
hazard to people and property.
Keep the packaging for storing the appliance when not in use for an extended
period of time.
Intended use
This appliance is designed for
cleaning surfaces which are resistant to hot
steam. Do not use on leather or wooden polished furniture, waxed oors,
synthetic fabrics, velvet or other delicate, steam sensitive materials. It is
recommended to test on a small hidden area of the working surface before
use.
This appliance is intended for private domestic use only, not for any
commercial trade use. It must not be used for any purposes other than those
described.
This appliance is splash-proof only. Do not expose to high pressure water jets.
This appliance is not intended for cleaning swimming pools.

Filling the water tank
WARNING! Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the socket outlet
before lling the water tank.
NOTE: Use the steam trigger on the steam gun and direct the jet into a
suitable container to bleed out the remaining pressure from the water tank.
NOTE: Always let the appliance cool down and then loosen the water tank
cap slowly to let the pressure and hot steam escape.
1. Turn the water tank cap (3) anti-clockwise to remove it (Fig. 1).

2. Position the lling funnel (17) on the water tank inlet (Fig. 2).
3. Pour up approx. 1000 ml of water slowly using the measuring cup (18) (Fig. 3).

4. Ret the water tank cap (3) and turn it clockwise to tighten it in place (Fig. 4).
