your watch to the PC application allows us to load
the necessary files for a super quick GPS connection.
•Upload, view and transfer your workout files
– Convenient place to view your workout files with
graphs and map view. Also allows you to transfer
your files to a third party fitness site, including Strava
& MapMyFitness.
• Quick and easy watch setup
– First time watch setup from the convenience of your
computer. Also allows you to change watch settings
and transfer those settings down to the watch.
•Watch firmware updates
– Always free! Offers improvements and will
sometimes add additional features.
• And much more!
NOTE: This watch also features Tapscreen™technology.
This allows you to take a manual lap/split and resume a
workout.
TIMEX CONNECT COMPUTER APPLICATION
It is highly recommended that you use your TIMEX®
IRONMAN®GPS with the free TIMEX Connect computer
application (compatible with Windows and Macintosh
operating systems). We ask that you connect your watch
at least once every seven days to take advantage of the
enhanced features and functions made available to you.
The TIMEX Connect computer application includes:
• QuickFix
– Getting a quick GPS fix is one of the most important
features of a GPS sports watch. Simply connecting

CHARGING YOUR TIMEX®IRONMAN®GPS
Before using your watch for the first time, you should
allow the watch to charge completely. The quickest way
to charge your TIMEX®IRONMAN®GPS is to use a micro
USB cable with an A/C wall charger or you can use any
USB compatible A/C wall charger.
Please visit www.Timex.com/GO for download
instructions.
GETTING STARTED
1. Visit www.Timex.com/GO and follow the installation
instructions.
2. The TIMEX CONNECT computer application will tell you
when to connect your watch to the computer.
– You can use the included micro USB cable or
any other universal micro USB cable to make the
connection.
3. Continue following on screen installation instructions
to complete the watch and application setup.
4. The TIMEX CONNECT application will check for
any available firmware updates and will install
them for you.

DURING YOUR WORKOUT
• Use the Up button to scroll through the available
training pages.
• Use the Down or Lap/Split button to trigger a manual
lap count.
• Use the Menu/Enter button to Pause, Save or Discard
a workout.
• Pressing the Back button will bring up the Main Menu.
It will not Stop your workout, your workout will
continue to run in the background.
• Use the Power/Indiglo®button to activate the Indiglo
backlight function.

STARTING A WORKOUT ON YOUR
TIMEX®IRONMAN®GPS
1. If your watch is currently off, press and hold the
Power/Indiglo®button to turn it on.
2. Press the Menu button.
3. Select Workouts, and then press the Menu/Enter
button.
4. Use the Up and Down buttons to select your sport,
and then press the Menu/Enter button.
5. Use the Up and Down buttons to select Chrono or
Interval, and then press the Menu/Enter button.
6. Wait for the flashing GPS icon to be solid, and then
press the Menu/Enter button to select Start.
NOTE: This watch can be used for indoor and outdoor
training. You must be outdoors for GPS to function.

TIMEX INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
Your TIMEX®watch is warranted against manufacturing defects by
Timex Group USA, Inc. for a period of ONE YEAR from the original
purchase date. Timex and its worldwide affiliates will honor this
International Warranty.
Please note that Timex may, at its option, repair your watch by
installing new or thoroughly reconditioned and inspected components
or replace it with an identical or similar model. IMPORTANT —
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS
OR DAMAGES TO YOUR WATCH:
1) after the warranty period expires;
2) if the watch was not originally purchased from an authorized Timex
retailer;
3) from repair services not performed by Timex;
4) from accidents, tampering or abuse; and
5) lens or crystal, strap or band, watch case, attachments or battery.
Timex may charge you for replacing any of these parts.
WATER RESISTANCE
WARNING: TO MAINTAIN WATER RESISTANCE, DO NOT
PRESS ANY BUTTONS UNDER WATER.
Your IRONMAN®GPS watch is water resistant to a depth
of 50 meters (164 feet).
• The watch is water resistant only as long as lens, push
buttons and case remain intact.
• The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used
for diving.
• Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to
salt water.

and do not allow exclusions or limitations on damages, so these
limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal
rights and you may also have other rights which vary from country to
country and state to state.
To obtain warranty service, please return your watch to your local
Timex affiliate or the Timex retailer where the watch was purchased,
together with a completed original Watch Repair Coupon if available,
or a written statement identifying your name, address, telephone
number and date and place of purchase. Timex will charge you for
any postage and handling due on return shipments (this is not a
repair charge) when completing service or repairs. NEVER INCLUDE A
SPECIAL WATCHBAND OR ANY OTHER ARTICLE OF PERSONAL VALUE
IN YOUR SHIPMENT.
