IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electric appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:

DANGER As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DEATH BY ELECTRIC SHOCK:
1. Always unplug the appliance immediately after using.
2. If an appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
3. For household and indoor use only.
WARNING To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on or near children or individuals with certain
disabilities.
3. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
4. Never block the air opening of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the
air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.
5. Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
6. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
7. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
8. The item is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and bare skin touch heated surfaces.
9. Do not place this appliance directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT- During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This is
normal and is not a cause for concern.
To help you get the most of this appliance, please follow this operating guide.
1. USE ON DRY HAIR ONLY.
2. Remove plastic cap off end of plug.
3. Plug unit into wall outlet.
4. To turn on, hold the power button in for about 3 seconds.
5. Separate 5 cm strand of hair and place it between plates.
6. Maintaining some tension, slowly slide the iron down the section of hair from roots to ends. Be careful to
avoid touching your hands and scalp with the hot plates.
7. Allow hair to cool before combing or brushing.
8. Repeat as necessary.
9. Once styling is completed, unplug the iron and allow it to cool before storing away.
NOTE: 60 minutes Auto Shut Off is installed for safety. To restart, please repeat Step 4.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
This appliance has 10 temperature settings ranging from 140°C to 230°C to provide styling versatilities for
different hair types. You can vary the temperature according to your particular needs. Use temperature
button to choose desired temperature. It’s best to start with a lower temperature until you are confident
using the appliance.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
140°C - 150°C for very thin hair;
160°C - 170°C for fine hair;
180°C - 190°C for normal hair;
200°C -210°C for very thick or coarse hair
220°C - 230°C for professional use.

BASIC OPERATION INSTRUCTION
• Rotate temperature dial to select from 140°C to 230°C. The tool will alert with 2 beeping sounds once
desired temperature is achieved.
• Lock: close the plates and then rotate the rear locking mechanism from left to right for storage.
• Unlock: rotate the rear locking mechanism from right to left to unlock the tool for operation.
CARE AND MAINTENAINCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance free. NO lubrication is needed. Keep heated surfaces clean and free
of dust, dirt and hair spray. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source
and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.
Warning! If a malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it yourself. This appliance has no
user serviceable parts. Any other servicing should be performed by a licensed service center.
STORAGE
1. Switch off and unplug the appliance after use.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down completely and store it out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.
3. Clean the appliance with damp soft cloth.
4. Never wrap the cord around the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break.
5. Handle cord carefully for longer life and avoid jerking, twisting or straining, especially at plug connections.
6. Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or if the appliance stops
or operates intermittently.
7. For longer service of the Dial to open / close barrel, it is suggested not to close and lock the barrel unless
when it is on a trip for easier storage.

European regulations at the designated collection points which hold the appropriate authorisation and certification in line with the local

GRUNDLEGENDE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bei der Verwendung elektronischer Geräte, insbesondere in Anwesenheit von Kindern, sollten stets grundlegende
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen getroffen werden, darunter die folgenden:

Bett oder ein Sofa, da dies zu einer Verstopfung der Luftzirkulationsöffnungen führen kann. Halten Sie die Luftzirkulationsöff-
nungen sauber (frei von Fusseln, Haaren usw.).
5. Stecken Sie niemals einen Gegenstand in die Öffnung oder den Kanal.
6. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien oder an Orten, an denen Aerosole (Sprays) verwendet werden oder an denen
Sauerstoff zugeführt wird.
7. Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel für dieses Gerät.
8. Das Gerät wird während des Gebrauchs heiß. Vermeiden Sie Augen- und Hautkontakt mit heißen Oberflächen.
9. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht direkt auf eine Oberfläche, wenn es heiß ist oder an eine Stromquelle angeschlossen ist.

WICHTIG - In den ersten fünf Minuten der Benutzung können Sie Rauch oder einen leichten Geruch
wahrnehmen. Das ist normal, machen Sie sich also keine Sorgen.
Damit Sie Ihr Gerät optimal nutzen können, sollten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung beachten.
1. NUR FÜR TROCKENES HAAR VERWENDEN.
2. Entfernen Sie den Plastikstopfen vom Ende des Steckers.
3. Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine Steckdose an.
4. Zum Einschalten drücken Sie die Einschalttaste für 3 Sekunden.
5. Wählen Sie eine 5 cm breite Haarsträhne und legen Sie sie zwischen die Platten.
6. Halten Sie die Spannung aufrecht und lassen Sie das Glätteisen langsam vom Ansatz bis zu den Enden der
Locken gleiten. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die heißen Platten nicht mit den Händen berühren.
7. Das Haar vor dem Kämmen abkühlen lassen.
8. Falls erforderlich, wiederholen.
9. Wenn die Installation abgeschlossen ist, trennen Sie den Gleichrichter vom Netz und lassen Sie ihn abküh-
len, bevor Sie ihn an einem geeigneten Ort aufbewahren.
ANMERKUNG: Aus Sicherheitsgründen wurde eine automatische Abschaltfunktion nach 60 Minuten
eingestellt. Zum Neustart wiederholen Sie bitte Schritt 4.
Einstellung der Temperatur
Dieses Gerät verfügt über 10 Temperaturstufen von 140°C bis 230°C für verschiedene Haartypen. Sie kö-
nnen die Temperaturen an Ihre eigenen Bedürfnisse anpassen. Verwenden Sie die Temperatureinstelltaste,
um die gewünschte Temperatur zu wählen. Am besten fangen Sie mit einer niedrigen Temperatur an, bis Sie
mit dem Gerät vertraut sind.
Unsere Empfehlungen:
140°C - 150°C - für sehr feines Haar;
160°C - 170°C - für feines Haar;
180°C - 190°C - für normales Haar;
200°C- 210°C - für sehr dickes und grobes Haar;
220°C - 230°C für den professionellen Einsatz.
Anleitung für die Grundbetriebsart
• Wählen Sie mit dem Temperaturknebel eine Temperatur zwischen 140°C und 230°C. Das Gerät macht Sie
mit zwei Pieptönen darauf aufmerksam, wenn es die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht hat.
