3. Installation
3.1 Befor using the pump
When receiving pump，check the following：
If any defects，contact agent．
（1）Are all descriptions on name plate as ordered？
（2）Has any damage occurred during transportation？
（3）Have any nuts or bolts（or other parts that should be tight）been loosened？
（4）Have all the accessories that were ordered been delivered？
３.２Instructions for installation
（1） Install the pump in a place that satisfies the following conditions：
・ A place sheltered from wind and rain．
The standard pump is for indoor use．If it is installed outdoors，order out door application
pump as special specification, or the place must be sheltered from wind and rains．
・ A well-ventilated place，with less humidity or dust in the air．
・ A place with ambient temperature in the range 0-40℃．
・ A place where unauthorized persons cannot enter．（So that unauthorized persons can not
operate the pump．）
・ A place as near as possible to the water source.
・ A place where a possible water leak should not create a secondary hazard.
（2） Fasten the pump securely on a concrete foundation，using anchor bolts．
（3） Be sure to provide drainage ditch around the pump．
（4） If there is danger of freezing in the wintertime，be sure to provide anti freezing measures for the
pump room or for the pumps，its valves and piping．
（5） The doors and walls of the pump room should be made of materials with good sound
insulation effect．
（6） When lifting the pump，rope must tight up with through under common bed．
Before unpacking，make sure that the pump is the right side up．
Especially if packing is wooden crate，beware of nails，
or you could hurt yourself．
Install the pump in a position where the total suction head (suction
height + suction piping loss) will be within the specified standard value
and also as small as possible.
Do not lift the pump with tighting rope on pump shaft or eye bolt of motor．
Before lifting the pump，check its weight（given in catalog and outer dimension
drawings），and make sure that the weight of the pump does not exceed the rated
load of the ropes and lifting equipment．
