Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a
period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this
warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at
our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts and labour. The benefits
conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the
product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and
similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

IMPORTANT: Read these instructions fully before using the fan. Retain these
instructions for future reference.
The packaging materials may contain plastics etc. which may be
hazardous and should not be left within the reach of children. Remove all
packaging materials and retain for future use. Ensure that no packaging
residues remain on the appliance.
Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other use that is not recom-
mended may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons. This will also
void your warranty.
This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial,
industrial or outdoor use.
Dangerous high voltages are present inside the Motor Housing. To avoid
electric shock, DO NOT disassemble the Motor Housing. Refer servicing
to qualified personnel only.
Make sure the fan is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any objects that
may be drawn into the fan.
To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, do not
immerse plug, cord or unit in water or spray it with liquids.
The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing of water
and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases should be placed near the
product.
No naked flame sources, such as candles, should be placed near the
product.

Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, after a
malfunction or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner.
Do not operate the fan without the fan grilles properly in place.
Do not use or store the appliance where it may be exposed to water
or any liquids. Do not use in or near a bathroom, near windows etc.
To prevent fire or shock hazard, DO NOT expose this appliance to
rain or moisture.

Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings.
Slots and openings are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable opera-
tion of the product and to protect it from overheating.
Care is required with the use of this apparatus in extremely hot climates.
Do not use the appliance in temperatures over 40°C.
Place the fan on a stable, level surface when operating to avoid over-
turning.
Only connect to a suitable AC 240V, 50Hz mains socket.
Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/ or flammable
fumes. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or
other heating appliance.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let
it touch any hot surfaces.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings as this
may cause damage to the appliance.
Do not use the fan if the grille becomes damaged or loose.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Turn the fan OFF and unplug it from the outlet when it is not in use,
when moving fan from one location to another and before cleaning.
To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull
by the cord.
Do not repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There are no
user-serviceable parts inside.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Make sure that anything that can potentially fit through the fan grille
(such as loose clothing, hair) are kept away from the fan when the
blades are in motion.
The fan must be fully and properly assembled before use.

Getting Started
Assembling the Base
Place the Stand (13) on the Round Base (16), and insert the 4x Base Screws (15) through the
corresponding holes (insert from the top). (Fig.1)
Slide the decorative Stand Cover (14) over the Stand (13) and
place it in the recess on the Round Base (16). (Fig.4)
Carefully place the Stand Assembly upright on the floor.
Remove the Inner Tube (11) from the Stand by first gripping it and then removing the Height
Adjustment Screw (12) fully. (Fig.3)
Partially insert the Inner Tube (11) into the Stand (13), and
hold it in place while re-tightening the Height Adjustment
Screw (12). (Fig.5)
Replace the Motor-Stand Screw (10) and tighten it by hand
so that the Motor section doesn't come off the Stand when
lifted. (Fig.7)
Remove the Motor-Stand Screw (10) from underneath the
Motor Housing (9), then slide the Motor Housing assembly
onto the top of the Inner Tube (11). (Fig.6)
Holding the Base Screws (15) and Round Base (16) in place, tilt up the base to secure from
the underside.
Slide the Base Weight (17) over the 4 Base Screws (15), then secure the Base Weight (17) in
place with the 4x Butterfly Nuts (18). (Fig.2)

Assembling the Fan Head
Unscrew the Guard Retaining Nut (4) from the Motor Housing (9) by rotating it anticlockwise.
(Fig.8)
Position the Rear Guard (5) on the front of the Motor Housing (9); ensure that the handle is at
the top.(Fig.9)
Replace the Guard Retaining Nut (4) and hand-tighten it firmly.(Fig.10)
Undo the Blade Retaining Screw (3).
Place the Fan Blade (2) on the Motor Shaft (6) and push it back as far as it will go.
Now replace the Blade Retaining Screw (3) tightly to lock the Fan Blade (2) to the Motor Shaft
(6). (Fig.11)
Attached to one of the guards is the Guard Locking Screw & Nut (19). Remove these and keep
them safe. (Fig.12)
Open the Guard Locking Clips (20) of the Front Guard (1) fully. Hook the top of the Front Guard
(1) over the Rear Guard (5) and pull down to attach it. (Fig.13)

Manoeuvre the Front Guard (1) so that the screw holes at the bottom of both guards line up.
Loosely attach the Guard Locking Screw & Nut (19). (Fig.14)

Line up the two guards and then shut the Guard Locking Clips (20) to secure the two guards.

Now tighten the Guard Locking Screw & Nut (19) tightly. This completes the fan assembly.
