WARNING:
While the laser tool is in
operation, be careful not to expose
your eyes to the emitting laser beam
(red light source). Exposure to a laser
beam for an extended time period may
be hazardous to your eyes. Do not
look into the beam with optical aids.
Charging the Battery
Fully charge the battery before initial use and
whenever the tool has not been used for 6
months or longer.
1. Locate the port cover on the side of the
tool (Figure A4).
2. Using your finger, gently pull the port cover
down (Figure C1).
3. Insert the small end of the USB Recharge
Cable into the port on the side of the tool,
making sure to insert the flat side of the
cable into the flat side of the port (Figure
C2).
4. Insert the USB end of the cable into a USB
port in a computer or USB power outlet
(Figure C3).
5. Wait approximately 2.5 hours for the
battery to fully charge and then disconnect
the USB Recharge Cable.
When the tool is ON, the battery level appears

in the display window (Figure D1).
Operation
1. Point the laser at the top of the tool (Figure
A1) toward the wall whose distance you
need to measure (Figure E1).
2. Click (Figure A3) to turn the tool on
and display a laser dot on the wall (Figure
E1).
3. When the bottom of the tool is positioned
at the correct distance from the wall, click
to take the measurement (Figure
E2).
4. View the measurement on the display
window (Figure D3).
Changing the Unit of Measure
Once the current measurement is taken, you
can change the unit of measure from decimal
ft (6.21 ft) to fractional ft (6'02"9/16), fractional
ft to meters (1.894 m), meters to inches (74
9/16 in), or inches to decimal ft.
To change the unit of measurement, press
and hold until you see the measurement
change (3 seconds).
NOTE: If you continue to hold after the
measurement changes, the tool will turn off.
Re-measuring
1. When you need to take a new
measurement, point the laser toward the
wall whose distance you need to measure.
2. Click .
• The previous measurement (Figure
D3) will be cleared from the display
window.
• will change to in the display
window (Figure D2).
3. When the bottom of the tool is positioned
at the correct distance from the wall, click
to take the measurement (Figure
E2).
Turning Off the Tool
The tool can be turned off in either of these
ways:
• After taking a measurement, press and hold
for 5 seconds (until the display window
clears).
• If you do not use the tool for 120 seconds, it
will automatically turn off.

WARNUNG:
Während das Laserwerkzeug
in Betrieb ist, darauf achten, nicht
in den Laserstrahl (rote Lichtquelle)
zu blicken. Eine längere Belastung
durch Laserstrahlen kann den Augen
schaden. Nicht mit Hilfe von optischen
Hilfsmitteln in den Strahl blicken.
Aufladen der Batterie
Laden Sie den Akku vor der ersten
Verwendung vollständig auf, sowie immer
dann, wenn das Werkzeug 6 Monate oder
länger nicht verwendet wurde.
1. Die Batteriefachabdeckung befindet sich
an der Seite des Werkzeugs (Abbildung
A4).
2. Ziehen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung
mit dem Finger vorsichtig nach unten
(Abbildung C1).
3. Stecken Sie das kleinere Ende des USB-
Ladekabels in den Anschluss an der
Werkzeugseite, achten Sie dabei darauf,
dass die flache Seite des Kabels in die
flache Seite des Anschlusses eingesetzt
wird (Abbildung C2).
4. Stecken Sie das USB-Ende des Kabels in
den USB-Anschluss eines Computers oder

einer USB-Steckdose (Abbildung C3).
5. Warten Sie etwa 2,5 Stunden, bis die
Batterie vollständig aufgeladen ist, und
ziehen Sie das USB-Ladekabel dann ab.
Wenn das Werkzeug eingeschaltet ist, wird
auf dem Display der Batteriestand angezeigt
(Abbildung D1).
BETRIEB
1. Richten Sie den Laser oben am Werkzeug
(Abbildung A1) auf die Wand, zu der Sie
den Abstand messen wollen (Abbildung
E1).
2. Klicken Sie auf (Abbildung A3),
um das Werkzeug einzuschalten und
einen Laserpunkt an der Wand anzuzeigen
(Abbildung E1).
3. Wenn die Unterseite des Werkzeugs im
richtigen Abstand zur Wand positioniert
ist, klicken Sie auf , um die Messung
durchzuführen (Abbildung E2).
4. Das Messergebnis wird im Display
angezeigt (Abbildung D3).
Ändern der Maßeinheit
Wenn der aktuelle Messwert erfasst wurde,
können Sie die Maßeinheit ändern: von
Dezimal-Fuß (6,21 ft) zu einem Fuß-Wert als
Bruch (6'02"9/16), ein Fuß-Wert als Bruch zu
Meter (1,894 m), Meter zu Zoll (74 9/16 in)
oder Zoll zu Dezimal-Fuß.
Zum Ändern der Maßeinheit halten Sie
gedrückt, bis Sie sehen, dass sich der
Messwert ändert (3 Sekunden).
HINWEIS: Wenn Sie nach der Änderung
des Messwerts weiterhin gedrückt halten, wird
das Werkzeug ausgeschaltet.
Erneutes Messen
Wenn Sie eine neue Messung vornehmen
müssen, klicken Sie auf .
• Das vorherige Messergebnis (Abbildung
D2) wird dann nicht mehr auf dem
Display angezeigt.
• Wenn Sie für die neue Messung bereit sind,
klicken Sie auf .
Ausschalten des Werkzeugs
Das Werkzeug kann auf eine der folgenden
Weisen ausgeschaltet werden:
• Halten Sie nach der Messung 5
Sekunden lang gedrückt (bis das Display
nichts mehr anzeigt).
• Wenn Sie das Werkzeug 120 Sekunden
lang nicht verwenden, wird es automatisch
ausgeschaltet.

Recharger la batterie
Rechargez complètement la batterie avant la
première utilisation et si l'outil n'est pas utilisé
6 mois ou plus.
1. Trouvez le cache de la prise sur le côté de
l'outil (Figure A4).
2. Abaissez doucement le cache de la prise
avec votre doigt (Figure C1).
3. Insérez la petite extrémité du câble de
charge USB dans la prise sur le côté de
l'outil en vous assurant d'insérer le côté
plat du câble du côté plat de la prise
(Figure C2).
4. Insérez l'extrémité USB du câble dans la
prise USB d'un ordinateur ou d'une prise
d'alimentation USB (Figure C3).
5. Patientez environ 2 heures et demi que la
batterie soit complètement rechargée puis
débranchez le câble de charge USB.
Lorsque l'outil est allumé, le niveau de

puissance de la batterie apparaît dans la
fenêtre d'affichage (Figure D1).
Fonctionnement
1. Pointez le laser situé en haut de l'outil
(Figure A1) vers le mur dont vous
voulez mesurer la distance (Figure E1).
2. Cliquez sur (Figure A3) pour
allumer l'outil et afficher un point laser sur
le mur (Figure E1).
3. Une fois le bas de l'outil positionné à la
bonne distance par rapport au mur,
appuyez sur pour prendre la mesure
(Figure E2).
4. Vous pouvez voir le résultat de la prise de
mesure dans la fenêtre d'affichage (Figure
D3).
Changer l'unité de mesure
Une fois la mesure prise, vous pouvez
changer l'unité de mesure de pied en
décimales (6,21 ft) à pied en fractions
(6',02"9/16), de pied en fractions à mètres
(1,894 m), de mètres à pouces (74 9/16 in) ou
de pouces à pied en décimales.
Pour changer l'unité de mesure, maintenez
enfoncé jusqu'à voir l'unité de mesure
choisie (3 secondes).
REMARQUE : Si vous gardez enfoncé
après le changement d'unité de mesure, l'outil
s'éteint.
Prendre une nouvelle mesure
Si vous devez prendre une nouvelle mesure,
appuyez sur .
• La mesure précédente (Figure D2) est
effacée de la fenêtre d'affichage.
• Une fois prêt à prendre la nouvelle mesure,
appuyez sur .
Éteindre l'outil
L'outil peut être éteint de l'une ou l'autre de
ces façons :
• Après avoir pris la mesure, maintenez
enfoncé pendant 5 secondes
(jusqu'à ce que la fenêtre d'affichage
s'éteigne).
• Si vous n'utilisez pas l'outil pendant 120
secondes, il s'éteint automatiquement.
