SolioTM Instructions for Use
Checking the SolioTM Battery Charge Level
To check how much power the internal battery has, press the
function button once. (See Illustration 1 )
A Green LED will flash to indicate how much power the SolioTM
has stored. One flash indicates 25% charge, two flashes = 50%,
three flashes = 75% and four flashes indicate a 100% charge.
Please Note - It is recommended that you charge the SolioTM
before first use. Please ensure the Solio's internal battery
maintains a state of charge at all times.
Charging SolioTM from the Sun
To open, hold SolioTM with solar cell facing you and rotate the
blades until all three solar cells are visible.
Find a suitable sunny location. The function button will show
red when the SolioTM begins charging.
For maximum charge always keep the SolioTM pointed directly
at the sun at all times. This means moving the SolioTM from
time to time with the movement of the sun.
The function button will glow Red to indicate that the SolioTM
is being charged.
Attaching a Device for Charging
Select the suitable connector tip for the mobile device you
wish to charge. IMPORTANT - Only attach a charging tips
approved by SolioTM.
Attach the tip to the end of the supplied Solio charging cord.
Plug the charging jack into the "device socket" and attach the
tip to your device. (See Illustration 2 )
To initiate charging press the function button once. The green
LED will flash to indicate how much power is stored, after
which the LED will flash intermittently to indicate your device
is being charged. The SolioTM may take a few seconds to
establish the type of mobile device attached before charging
commences. This is to ensure that the correct charge is
delivered to the mobile device. To terminate the charging
process, unplug the cord from the SolioTM and then press the
function button to reset the SolioTM.
Please Note - With an empty SolioTM battery, an attached
device will not begin charging for 1-5 minutes. Therefore, if
SolioTM is connected to a device when it is empty but exposed
to the sun or plugged in, it will charge the device only after it
has built up enough charge to do so.
Charging the SolioTM from the Wall
Locate an available wall power socket and plug in the supplied
wall charger. Attach the mains charger cable to the SolioTM.

After SolioTM is fully charged, the red light will turn green .
