In extreme weather (storms, lightning) and long
inactivity periods (going on holiday) disconnect the
Monitor set from the mains.
The mains plug is used to disconnect Monitor set
from the mains and therefore it must remain readily
operable. If the Monitor set is not disconnected
electrically from the mains, the device will still draw
power for all situations even if the Monitor is in
standby mode or switched off.
Note: Follow the on screen instructions for
operating the related features.
IMPORTANT - Please read these instructions
fully before installing or operating.
WARNING: Never let people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and / or knowledge use electrical devices
unsupervised.
´Use this Monitor set at an altitude of less
than 2000 meters above the sea level, in dry
locations and in regions with moderate or
tropical climates.
´The Monitor set is intended for household and
similar general use but may also be used in
public places.
´For ventilation purposes, leave at least 5cm of
free space around the Monitor.
´The ventilation should not be impeded by
covering or blocking the ventilation openings
with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths,
curtains, etc.
´The power cord plug should be easily
accessible. Do not place the Monitor, furniture,

not unplug the Monitor by pulling the power
cord. Never touch the power cord/plug with
wet hands as this could cause a short circuit or
electric shock. Never make a knot in the power
cord or tie it with other cords. When damaged it
must be replaced, this should only be done by
qualified personnel.
´Do not expose the Monitor to dripping or
splashing of liquids and do not place objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, cups, etc. on
or over the Monitor (e.g., on shelves above the
unit).
´Do not expose the Monitor to direct sunlight or
do not place open flames such as lit candles on
the top of or near the Monitor. Do not place any
heat sources such as electric heaters, radiators,
etc. near the Monitor set.
´Do not place the Monitor on the floor and
inclined surfaces.
´To avoid danger of suffocation, keep plastic
bags out of the reach of the babies, children
and domestic animals.

WARNING:
Never place a monitor in unstable or inclined
locations. A monitor may fall, causing serious
personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly
to children, can be avoided by taking simple
precautions such as;
´Using cabinets or stands recommended by the
manufacturer of the monitor.
´Only using furniture that can safely support
the monitor. Ensuring the monitor is not
overhanging the edge of the supporting
furniture.
´Not placing the monitor on tall furniture (for
example, cupboards or bookcases) without
anchoring both the furniture and the monitor to
a suitable support.
´Not standing the monitor on cloth or other
materials placed between the television and
supporting furniture.
´Educating children about the dangers of
climbing on furniture to reach the monitor or
its controls. If your existing monitor is being
retained and relocated, the same considerations
as above should be applied.

Operation
Get started:
1. Remove all packaging material from the monitor.
2. Install the stand into the monitor.
3. Turn off computer and unplug power cord.
4. To connect signal cable into DP/DVI/HDMI port on the
back of monitor, and to be sure to tighten screws on
both ends of signal cable if using DVI cable.
5. To plug PC and monitor power cord to the nearest
socket.
6. Turn on PC and monitor, image possibility shows
successful installation. If not, please double check all the
connections.
Note: To connect signal cable and plug power cord to be
assure monitor safety on process of installation.
Note: To avoid monitor damaged, please handle the
centre part of front cover while it installation.
7. Multi-function Menu button.
a. Power Switch
Press the Menu button to turn on/off the monitor.
b. OSD Feature Setting
Push the Menu button forward to start OSD feature -->
Push the button upward/downward to select up/down
--> Push the button forward to enter the function menu
--> Push the button upward/downward to change setting
--> Push the button backward to exit setting.
c. Quick OSD setting
Push the Menu button
upwards to adjust Brightness
Push the Menu button
downwards to adjust Contract.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
No Image on Screen 1. Check power button is switched to on.
2. Verify the brightness and contrast of the monitor.
3. If the power indicator is flashing, re-tighten the
signal cable.
4. If the signal indicator is notebook or laptop,
make sure that the signal has been switched to
screen mode.
Non-focus Image Check if the image signal cable is inserted properly
(upright position).
Flash Screen 1. The power is insufficient to connect the monitor
or too weak.
2. Remove speakers, fluorescence, lightings, AC
transformer, table fan and etc. from the monitor.
Wrong or Unusual
Colour
1. If red, green, blue, or any of the colour
disappears, check the signal cord is connected
properly.
2. Try connecting to another PC for comparison.
