Thank you for purchasing the IP-260/263 Dryer 64 that is
exclusively used for our Solvent Inkjet Printer IP-6600.
The unit is designed to effectively dry media (ink) printed by and
released from the printer. This aims to maximize the fast printing
performance (16 m2/hour) that characterizes our Solvent Inkjet
Features:
Printer IP-6600.
•High-speed media (ink) drying in response to fast printing (16
m2/hour.
This warm air-based high-speed media (ink) drying is achieved by
partitioning the media path of the IP-6600 printer, ranging from the
media release guide to the media reel, from the air outside.
Note:
16 m2/hour is the value when the printing width is 50 inches or more.
•Drying time preset function up to 12 hours
Equipping a timer allows users to preset the drying time by each hour
up to 12 hours, resulting in effective drying and power saving.
•Direct media release function
Only switching the media path of the IP-6600 to the direct media
release allows users to directly release media from the rear side of
the IP-6600 printer while drying it.
Note:
Thoroughly drying ink itself is additionally needed for media to which
laminate post processing is applied. Hence, it is not recommended the
laminate post processing be applied just after the media is released.
Some media cannot be dried up sufficiently depending on
a type.
In case of that, set "SCANTIME" on the operation panel of
the printer to dry the media sufficiently.
