Fixtheouterguardontotheinnerguarduntilitengages.Theinnerguardandouterguardassembledtogetherandmakeupa
wheelguardforcutting.
4.2.2. Wheelguardforgrinding(SeeFig.2)
Simplyremovetheouterguard.Theinnerguardisusedaswheelguardforgrinding.
4.2.3. Adjustingthewheelguard(SeeFig.3)
Turnthewheelguardtothedesiredpositionuntilitengages.Notoolisrequiredforthis.
4.3. REPLACING THE CUTTING DISC/GRINDING DISC
WARNING! DO NOTtouchgrindingandcuttingdiscsbeforetheyhavecooleddown.Thediscscanbecomeveryhotwhile
working.
4.3.1. Cleanthespindleandallpartstobemounted.
4.3.2. Pressandholdthespindlelockbuttontolockthespindle.Youmayneedtorotatethespindleusingtheprovidedhexkeyifthespindle
lockbuttoncannotbepresseddowntotheend.
4.3.3. Loosentheclampingboltwithwasherbyturningitanti-clockwiseusingtheprovidedhexkey.
4.3.4. Removetheclampingboltwithwasherandthedisc.
WARNING!Actuatethespindlelockbuttonwhenthegrinderspindleisatastandstill.Otherwise,themachinemaybecome
damaged.
WARNING!Payattentiontothedimensionsofthegrinding/cuttingdiscs.Themountingholediametermusttthespindlewithout
play.DO NOT use reducers or adapters
4.3.5. Placethedisconthetoolspindle.Ensureitiscorrectlylocated.
4.3.6. Inserttheclampingboltwithwasherthroughthecentreofthediscandontothespindle.
4.3.7. Pressandholdthespindlelockbuttontolockthespindle.Youmayneedtorotatethespindleusingtheprovidedhexkeyifthespindle
lockbuttoncannotbepresseddowntotheend.
4.3.8. Tightentheclampingboltwithwasherbyturningitclockwiseusingtheprovidedhexkey.Makesurethatthecuttingdisc/grindingdisc
isassembledrmly.
WARNING!Aftermountingthegrinding/Cuttingdiscandbeforeswitchingon,checkthatthedisciscorrectlymountedandthatit
canturnfreely.Makesurethatthediscdoesnotgrazeagainstthewheelguardorotherparts.
4.4. APPROVED GRINDING/CUTTING DISC
Thepermissiblespeed[min-1]orthecircumferentialspeed[m/s]ofthegrindingtoolsusedmustatleastmatchthevaluesgiveninthe
specicationtable.
5. OPERATION

toolforwrongapplications.
WARNING! DO NOTswitchthegrinderonwhilstthediscisincontactwiththeworkpiece.Allowthedisctoreachfullspeedbefore
startingtogrind.
9 Alwayspositiontheguardsothatasmuchoftheexposeddiscaspossibleispointingawayfromyou.
9 Bepreparedforastreamofsparkswhenthedisctouchesthemetal.
9 Forbesttoolcontrol,materialremovalandminimumoverloading,maintainananglebetweenthediscandworksurfaceof
approximately15°-30°whengrinding.

6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Removethebatterybeforecarryingoutanyadjustment,servicingormaintenance.
6.2. Therearenouserserviceablepartsinyourpowertool.Neverusewaterorchemicalcleanerstocleanyourpowertool.Wipeclean
withadrycloth.Alwaysstoreyourpowertoolinadryplace.Keepthemotorventilationslotsclean.Keepallworkingcontrolsfree
ofdust.Occasionallyyoumayseesparksthroughtheventilationslots.Thisisnormalandwillnotdamageyourpowertool.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1. Ifyourwheelwobblesorvibrates,checkthatclampingboltistight;checkthatthewheeliscorrectlylocatedonthespindle.
7.2. IfthereisanyevidencethatthewheelisdamagedDO NOTuseasthedamagedwheelmaydisintegrate,removeitandreplacewith
anewwheel.Disposeofoldwheelssensibly.
7.3. Ifworkingonaluminiumorasimilarsoftalloy,thewheelwillsoonbecomecloggedandwillnotgrindeectively.
7.4. Whenoverloaded,themotorcomestoastop.Relievetheloadonthemachineimmediatelyandallowcoolingforapprox.
30secondsatthehighestno-loadspeed.
7.5. Whenusingasintendedforthepowertoolcannotbesubjecttooverload.Whentheloadistoohighortheallowablebattery
temperatureof75°Cisexceeded,theelectroniccontrolswitchesothepowertooluntilthetemperatureisintheoptimum
temperaturerangeagain.
7.6. Ifmachineisblocked,pleaseturniioandturniionagainafter1~2seconds.
WARNING! – RISK OF HAND ARM VIBRATION INJURY.
This tool may cause Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome if its use is not managed adequately.

Werecommendaprogrammeofhealthsurveillancetodetectearlysymptomsofvibrationinjurysothatmanagementprocedurescanbe
modiedaccordingly.
Personal protective equipment.
Wearenotawareofanypersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)thatprovidesprotectionagainstvibrationinjurythatmayresultfromthe
uncontrolleduseofthistool.Werecommendasucientsupplyofclothing(includinggloves)toenabletheoperatortoremainwarmanddryand
maintaingoodbloodcirculationinngersetc.Pleasenotethatthemosteectiveprotectionisprevention,pleaserefertotheCorrectUseand
