1| INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
The isothermal expanded polypropylene container
SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play
is equipped with a highly innovative heating
technology that uses a system of self-regulating
thermal generators in combination with heat
accumulators and a heat sink plate.
The supply voltage is 220 V.
The operating mode of the heating
system ensures the consumption of the
minimum amount of energy in order to
stabilize the required temperature, also
accumulating the heat of the contained
product and then releasing it.
Just plug it in and Smart Heater stabilizes at 65°C
by self-adjusting the heat emission. The user is free to
concentrate on things with higher added value.
The supply voltage is 220 V.
The container is engineered to self-stabilize at a
temperature of 65°C.
To meet the growing demand of food business operators, to be able to
track consignments and deliveries of meals and food in detail, even SMART
HEATER POLIBOX containers can be monitored along the entire supply chain
thanks to the specific App and to the SMARTPOLIBOX EASY PLUS
Cloud service.
SmartPolibox Easy Plus intuitively simplifies the tracking procedures of
SmartPolibox isothermal containers, certifying through E-Signature the operating
processes normally used for the delivery of perishable heat products.

Please read these instructions before
using SMART HEATER POLIBOX
PLUG&PLAY
During the use of the SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug
& Play container it is necessary to follow some basic
precautions:
Ensure that the power supply voltage of SMART
HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play enclosure matches that
of your electrical network.
Do not leave the container unattended when
connected to electricity; please unplug it after each
use.
Do not put the container on or near heat sources.
Before use, place the container on a horizontal,
stable and well-lit surface.
Please don’t leave Smart Polibox Plug&Play exposed
to the weather conditions.
Make sure that the electric cable does not come into
contact with hot surfaces.
Never immerse SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug&Play,
the plug and the power cord in water or other
liquids, please use a damp cloth to clean them.
Please, unplug from the electricity currents before
cleaning.
SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play must not be
powered by external timers or by separate remote-
controlled systems.

During operation do not touch the plate with hands in
order to avoid burns
Do not cover the inner parts of the SMART HEATER
POLIBOX Plug & Play with aluminum foil to avoid
serious damage to its functioning.
Do not wrap food with films or bags: this could
constitute fire hazard.
Please use Smart Heater Polibox only to heat food.
Make sure you always keep your hands dry before
touching the power plug and connections.
To unplug it, grasp it directly and unplug it from the
wall socket. Never unplug it by pulling it by the cord.
Do not use the container if the electric cable or the plug
are damaged, or if the container itself is defective; if
the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its technical assistance service.
All repairs must be performed only by the SDS service
center or authorized by SDS technicians, in order to
prevent any risk.
If electric extension cords are used, the latter must be
adapted to the power of SMART HEATER POLIBOX
Plug & Play container, to avoid dangers to the operator
and to the safety of the environment in which it
operates. Incorrect extensions may cause malfunctions.
SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play container is
designed for PROFESSIONAL or INDUSTRIAL USE.
Any modifications to this product, not expressly
authorized by the manufacturer, may result in the decay
of the safety and guarantee of its use by the user.
The device can be used by children at least 8 years (as
well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience or required
knowledge) provided that they are under surveillance,
or after they have been instructed relating to the safe
use and have understood the potential dangers.
Children should not play with the appliance.

• Open the door.
CAUTION: During the loading, to avoid burns, wear
oven gloves.
• Place the containers with food to be kept at temperature
inside the SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play.
• Close the door quickly.
• Make sure that the SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug&Play is
connected to the electricity grid.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR
USING THE CONTAINER
To increase the efficiency of SMART HEATER POLIBOX
isothermal expanded polypropylene container it is important to
preheat the container, it is recommended for at least 90 minutes
When packing, it is important to quickly close the container
door to balance the temperature of the air inside the container
with that of the food.
During waiting times it is essential to keep the temperature
stable, avoiding sudden variations.
Before use, clean the container, including the SMART
HEATER plates, using a cloth with warm water and a mild
detergent. Dry well.

4| INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE CONTAINER
• Make sure that SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play is
connected to the electricity grid.
Note: SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug&Play is able
to maintain the temperature of the food automatically
reaching 65°C.
• When maintenance is complete and before administration,
switch off SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug&play.
• Open the door.
CAUTION: Open carefully to avoid burns due to
steam.
• Remove gastronorm
CAUTION: To avoid burns, wear oven gloves.
MAINTEINANCE

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the container, make sure that the power cord
is unplugged from both the electric socket and the connector
on the SMART HEATER POLIBOX Plug & Play and close the
socket protector.
• Clean the container both outside and inside, SMART
HEATER plate and the door using only a cloth with warm
water and mild detergent.
CAUTION: Wait until the SMART HEATER plates have
cooled down before to proceed with cleaning.
CAUTION: Do not use strong or abrasive products
or solvents. Do not use scourers, steel wool or soapy
pads.
• Dry well, put away or reuse
