2. STARTING UP -
SCUBAJET IN USE
2.1. INTRODUCTION
This section applies to the proper use of the SCUBAJET. Please
follow each of the following steps carefully in order to start your
SCUBAJET properly.
Once the SCUBAJET is set up, go to relevant section with your
activity as follows: For the use while snorkeling, swimming and
diving go to section 4. For the use on a SUP go to section 5.

5
Charging the battery
1 Connect the power cord to the power
supply.
2 Connect the power supply to the charger.
3 Put the battery into the charger and fasten it
with the metal ring.
5 The battery is full when the light appears
green (Charging time for 200 wh = approx. 3
hours; for 400 wh = approx. 6 hours).
6 Overcharging cannot happen. You can keep
the battery in the charger for an unlimited
time.
4 Connect the power cord to the mains.
2.2. CHARGING SCUBAJET

6
Charging the remote control and the repeater for use on SUP
1 Put the remote control and the repeater
into the 2 slots on the charger.
2 Connect the power cord to the mains.
3 Batteries are full when lights are green.

7
2 Slide the battery into the tube (so the end
with the metal ring is on the top) until it
touches the bottom.
3 Rotate the battery clockwise by using the
metal ring until the battery locks in place.
5 Put the nose cap back on the tube, and
close the cap by twisting it clockwise only
by hand.
6 Please mount the right adapter in this last
step. The SCUBAJET is now ready to use.
2.3. SETTING UP THE SCUBAJET WITH
THE 400 WH BATTERY
Insertingthebatteryandxingthetube
The SCUBAJET 200 will be delivered with the tube already mounted.
You may skip this step.
1 When connecting the motor unit with the
tube, take care that the outlet is located on
the left-hand side of the adapter appliance.
This has to be the exact position, otherwise
the device can‘t be turned on.
4 Once the battery is in place, it should be
pressed down until beeping sounds appear
(6x short, 1x long, 1x short). Once the sound
appeared, the battery is connected to the
motor unit.

8
2 In order to remove the battery from the
tube, pull the metal ring and pull out the
battery.
3 Put nose back on, push in slightly, then close
by twisting only by hand.
Remove the battery
1 Use the Nose-tool on order to open the
cap on the front by attaching the tool,
holding it together with the cap and rotating
it counter-clockwise (for early SCUBAJET
versions). If there is no nose-tool to be
found within the packaging, rotate the cap
by hand only.
