Usted ha adquirido un producto de calidad que ha sido totalmente fabricado según reglas
técnicas de seguridad reconocidas y conformes a las normas CE.
Sírvase leer atentamente estas instrucciones antes de la puesta en funcionamiento y guárde-
las para futuras referencias.
Rogamos compruebe el perfecto estado y funcionamiento del aparato al desembalarlo ya
que cualquier defecto de origen que presente está amparado por la garantía S&P.
RECOMENDACIONES DE SEGURIDAD

•Notiredelcableparaextraerlaclavijadelenchufe.

•Notoquelaclavijaconlasmanosmojadas.
•Antesdeenchufarodesenchufarelaparato,asegúresedequeelinterrup-

•Desenchufeelaparatocuandonoloestéutilizandoocuandoquierapro-
ceder a su limpieza.
•Esteaparatopuedenutilizarloniñosconedadde8añosysuperioryper-
sonasconcapacidadesfísicas,sensorialesomentalesreducidasofaltade
experienciayconocimiento,siseleshadadolasupervisiónoformación
apropiadas respecto al uso del aparato de una manera segura y compren-
denlospeligrosqueimplica.Losniñosnodebenjugarconelaparato.
•Nodejeelventiladoralladodefocosdecalorosuperciescalientes.
•Nointroduzcaningúnobjetoatravésdelarejilladeprotección.
•Lalimpiezayelmantenimientoarealizarporelusuarionodebenrealizarlos
losniñossinsupervisión.

INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE
(Fig. 1)
1. Unaeltubometálicoconlabase,medianteeltornilloperno.
2. Monteelcuerpodelventiladoreneltubometálicoysujételoconeltornillodeaprietesu-
perior.
3. Elpiedelventiladoresajustableenaltura.Paraajustarlaalturadelmismo,aojeeltornillo
deaprieteinferior,hastaobtenerlaalturadeseada.Seguidamentevuelvaapretareltornillo
de apriete firmemente.

1. Sueltelatuercadejacióndelarejillatrasera(sentidohorario)ylatuercadejacióndela
hélice(sentidoantihorario),delejedelmotor.
2.Montelarejilladeproteccióntraserasobreelcabezaldelmotor,haciendocoincidirlostres
agujerossituadosenlarejilla,conlastresespigasdelapartefrontaldelmotor,ysujetela
rejillaalacajadelmotorconlatuercadejacióndelarejillatrasera.
3.Introduzcalahélicesobreelejedelmotor,adaptandolaranuradelapartecentraldela
hélice,elpasadordelejeysujételaconlatuercadejaciónhélice.
4.Compruebelahélicegirándolamanualmente.Asegúresedequenohayroceconlacon-
tratuercadeseguridad.Lahélicedebegirarlibremente,encasocontrario,repitaapartir
del punto 1°.
5.Montelarejilladeproteccióndelantera,introduciendoelganchosituadoenlapartesupe-
riordelamisma,enlarejillatrasera.Juntelasdosrejllasypresionehastaquequedenbien
empotradas en el aro de plástico.
6.Cierreelclipdeseguridadsituadoenlaparteinferiordelarejilladelanteraysujételoconel
tornillo.
PUESTA EN MARCHA
Elinterruptoresdecuatroposiciones:
0=Paro
1=Velocidadlenta
2=Velocidadmedia
3=Velocidadrápida
OSCILACIÓN
Elventiladordisponedeunmecanismoquepermitelaoscilacióndelcabezaladerechae
izquierdadelabase-pie.Paraqueelventiladoroscile,pulseelmandodeoscilación.Para
detenerlaoscilación,tiredelmandohaciaarriba(Fig.3).

LosventiladoresARTIC-CNpresentanuncabezalmultiinclinable.Paraello,bastaconejercer
unalevepresiónsobreelmismoajustándoloalángulodeseado(Fig.3).

Antes de empezar cualquier operación de limpieza o mantenimiento sobre el apara-
to, desenchúfelo de la red eléctrica.
LosventiladoresARTIC-CNnonecesitandeunespecialmantenimiento.Parasacarlahélice
sigalasinstruccionesdemontajeensentidoinverso.Lahélicepuedelavarseenaguatempla-
daconunpocodedetergentesuave.Elexteriordelmotorlímpieloconunpañohúmedo.No
lo sumerja en agua.Noutilicedisolventesniproductosabrasivosparasulimpieza.Antesde
procederalmontaje,asegúresequetodaslaspiezasestáncompletamentesecas.
Importante:Asegúresedequeelventiladorestádesconectadodelaalimentaciónantesde
quitarlaprotección.

SECURITY ADVICES
•Checkthattensionmatcheswiththeshownonthecharacteristicsplate.
•Donotusethisfaninsideabathroomorashower.
•Donotsinkthefan.
•Donotunplugthefanbypullingoutonthecable.
•Ifthecableisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbyanoriginalsparepartsup-
plied by S&P.
•Beforepluggingorunplugging,besurethatthemainswitchisplacedat
«0»position.
•Unplugthefanwhenitisnotgoingtobeusedforalongtimeorwhenyou
are going to do the cleaning procedures.
•Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveand
personswithreducedphysical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofex-
perienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstruction
concerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazards
involved.Childrenshouldnotplaywiththeproduct.
•Donotplacethefannearaheatsource.
•Donotintroduceanyobjectovertheprotectiongrille.
•Cleaningandmaintenancetoperformbytheusernotbemadebychildren

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
(Fig. 1)
1. Jointhemetalbartothebaseandtightenitwiththebolt.
2. Insertthemotorsupportintothemetaltubeandxitwiththeupperscrew.
3. Thefootofthebaseisheightadjustable.Toselecttheappropriateheight,loosenthelower
xingscrew,thenextendthebarupwarduntilyouobtainthedesiredheightandtightenthe
xingscrewrmly.

1.Loosentheholdingboltonthebackgrill(clockwise)andthefanbladeholdingbolt(anti-
clockwise)fromthemotorshaft.
2.Mountthebackprotectivegrillonthemotorhead,ensuringthatthe3holeslocatedinthe
grillcoincidewiththethreepinsonthefrontpartofthemotor.Fixthegrilltothemotorusing
theholdingboltforthebackprotectivegrill.
3.Placethefanbladeonthemotorshaft,adaptingtheslotsinthecentralpartofthefanblade
to the pins on the motor shaft and tighten the holding bolt for the fan blade.
4.Checkthefanbladebyturningitmanually.Ensurethatthereisnofrictionwiththesafety
counterbolt.Thefanblademustturnfreely,ifnot,repeattheprevioussteps.
5. Mountthefrontprotectivegrillbyintroducingthehook,locatedontheupperpartofthe
same,intothebackprotectivegrill.Unitethetwogratingsandpressuntiltheyarewell
joinedwithintheplasticring.
6.Closethesecuritycliplocatedonthebottompartofthefrontgrillandtightenthescrew.
OPERATION
Themodelhasafourpositionsswitch:
0=Stop
1=Lowspeed
2=Mediumspeed
3=Highspeed
OSCILLATION
Thefanhasafeaturewhichallowstheoscillationoftheheadfromsidetosideofthebasis.To
makethefanoscillate,youmustpresstheoscillatingswitch.Tostoptheoscillation,justpull
theswitchupward(Fig.3).

TheARTIC-CNfanshaveamulti-swinginghead.Toleanityouonlyhavetopressoverthefan
adjustingittothedesiredangle(Fig.3).

MAINTENANCE
Before beginning any cleaning or maintenance operation on the appliance unplug it
from the mains supply.
TheARTIC-CNfansdonotneedanyspecialmaintenance.Totakeoutthepropeller,youmust
followthettinginstructionsinreverseorder.Thepropellercanbecleanedusingwarmwater
withasmallquantityofamilddetergent.Cleantheoutsideofthefanwithamoistenedcloth.
Do not sink the fan.Donotuseneitherabrasiveproductsnorsolvents.Beforemountingit
again,besurethatallthecomponentsarecompletelydry.
Important:Makesurethefanisdisconnectedfrompowersupplybeforeremovingthepro-
tection.

Ifafaultisobservedintheunit,pleasecontactanyofthementionedtechnicalserviceofces
