HOW THE LIGHT WORKS
The light comes with a rechargeable battery. During the day the solar panel converts sun-
light into electricity, which charges the battery. This energy is used at night, with the light
coming on automatically. The length of time that the light comes on for depends on the
geographical location, the weather and the time of year. The batteries should be replaced
when the charging capacity starts to diminish.
SUMMER AND WINTER SETTINGS
You change between the summer and winter settings using the special switch on the
inside of the light (part A). During the winter, the battery’s charging level will be much
lower, and the time that the light is on will be shorter. If you turn the switch to the winter
setting, you will save the battery’s capacity. The light will remain on for a longer period of
time, but will be weaker. To ensure that your light functions as eectively as possible, we
recommend using the summer and winter settings in their respective seasons.
WHERE TO PLACE YOUR LIGHT
Choose a location that is outdoors and that receives direct sunlight for at least 8 hours
per day. If you place the light in the shade, the battery will not be charged enough, so the
light will come on for a shorter amount of time. You should not place the light next to any
strong light sources, such as street lighting. If you do, it may cause the light to switch o
automatically, as the sensor in the light will sense the other light source.

maintained correctly, as described in the instructions in this user manual. Keep the user
manual for future reference.
USING THE LIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME
Even if the battery has been fully charged by the manufacturer, you should charge the
light for one day before using it for the first time. Remove the plastic strip that protects
the battery. Then place the light in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours to charge the rechargeable
battery before using it for the first time. The light will come on automatically when it gets
dark. It can take up to 4 days before the light starts to shine at its brightest. If the light
does not come on automatically at night, even after being in sunlight for 6 hours, check
the following:
- that the battery is in contact with the poles and that the + and - poles are correctly aligned.
- that the light is in a sunny location and that the panel itself faces the sun.
ASSEMBLY
The light must be assembled before it is installed.
1. Attach the lantern (B) to the lid (A).
2. Turn the lid (A) clockwise until the lid locks into place.
3. Attach the centre posts (C1+C2) to the lantern (B).
4. Put these parts onto a flat surface. Mark the places where you
are going to drill the holes on the base of the centre post. Drill a
hole at each point that you have marked, making sure that
the plastic plugs (D) that are included can fit inside.
5. Press the plastic plugs (D) into the holes.
6. Screw in the screws (E) that are included. Make sure the screws
are properly tightened.
7. Attach the ground spike (F) to the centre post (C) and push the
ground spike into the earth. Loosen up the soil if the earth is solid.
USE
• You use the light outdoors for lighting gardens, patios, etc.
• Extend the life of the light and reduce the risk of rust. Keep the
light away from any areas that are too damp or too close to salt or
fertiliser.
• The solar panel must not be scratched, dusty or dirty. Clean the light
with a soft, damp cloth.

REPLACING THE BATTERY
NOTE! You cannot replace the LED light and you must not touch it.
1. Turn the lid (A) of the lantern (B) anti-clockwise and remove it.
2. Turn the lid (A) upside down and open the lid of the battery
compartment. Remove the battery and insert a new
rechargeable 18500 battery, 3.2 V 800 mAh Li-Ion. Check that
you have inserted the new battery correctly.
3. Put the lid of the battery compartment back on and fully charge
the new battery. Take the used battery to a recycling station.

RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that
is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user
manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE
Used products should be handled separately from
household waste. They should be taken for recycling in
accordance with local rules for waste management.

HUR BELYSNINGEN FUNGERAR
Belysningen levereras med ett uppladdningsbart batteri. Under dagen omvandlar solcell-
spanelen solljuset till elektricitet och batteriet laddas. På natten utnyttjas denna energi
och belysningen tänds automatiskt. Hur länge belysningen lyser beror på geografiskt
läge, väder och årstid. Batterierna bör bytas ut när laddningskapaciteten minskar.
SOMMAR- OCH VINTERINSTÄLLNING
Omkoppling till sommar- respektive vinterinställning görs med omkopplaren på belys-
ningens insida (del A) Under vintern är batteriets laddningsnivå mycket lägre och tiden
när belysningen lyser blir kortare. Om man sätter omkopplaren i vinterläge, spar man på
batteriets kapacitet. Lampan lyser då under längre tid men med svagare styrka.
För bästa funktion rekommenderas att omkopplaren ställs om på
sommaren respektive vintern.
RÄTT PLACERING
Välj en plats utomhus med direkt solljus i minst 8 timmar per dag.
I skuggiga lägen kan batteriet inte laddas tillräckligt och därför lyser belysningen kortare
tid. Belysningen bör inte placeras nära starka ljuskällor som t ex gatubelysning. Belys-
ningen kan då släckas automatiskt eftersom sensorn inne i belysningen känner av den
andra ljuskällan.

Läs bruksanvisningen noggrant och se till att produkten installeras, används och under-
hålls på rätt sätt enligt instruktionerna. Spara bruksanvisningen för senare bruk.
FÖRSTA ANVÄNDNING
Även om batteriet kommer fulladdat från tillverkaren bör det laddas en dag före första
användning. Ta bort plastremsan som skyddar batteriet, ställ belysningen i direkt solljus
i 6-8 timmar och ladda de uppladdningsbara batterierna före första användning. Belys-
ningen tänds automatiskt när det blir mörkt. Det kan ta upp till 4 dagar innan belysningen
lyser som starkast. Om belysningen inte tänds automatiskt på natten trots att den har
stått i solljus i 6–8 timmar, kontrollera följande:
• Att batteripolerna har kontakt och att polerna + och – ligger
rätt mot varandra
• Att belysningen är placerad i soligt läge med panelsidan riktad
mot solen.
MONTERING
Belysningen måste monteras innan den installeras.
1. Montera ihop lanternan (B) och locket (A).
2. Vrid locket (A) medurs tills locket låser sig.
3. Montera mittstolpen (C1+C2) till lanternan (B).
4. Lägg dessa delar på en plan yta. Markera på mittstolpens botten var
hålen ska borras. Borra hål vid varje markering, tillräckligt stora att
de 4 medföljande plastpluggarna (D) passar.
5. Tryck in plastpluggarna (D) i hålen.
6. Skruva i de medföljande skruvarna (E). Dra åt skruvarna ordentligt.
7. Montera markfästet (F) till mittstolpen (C) och tryck in markfästet i
jorden. Luckra upp jorden om den är hårt packad.
ANVÄNDNING
Belysningen används utomhus för belysning av trädgård, uteplats osv.
Förläng belysningens livslängd och minska risken för rostskador. Pla-
cera inte belysningen i en allt för fuktig miljö eller nära salt och gödsel.
Solcellspanelen får inte bli repig och den ska alltid vara fri från damm
och smuts. Rengör belysningen med en mjuk, fuktig trasa.
LED-lampan är inte utbytbar och får ej vidröras.

BYTE AV BATTERI
OBS! LED-lampan är inte utbutbar och får inte vidröras.
1. Vrid locket (A) på lanternan (B) moturs och ta bort det.
2. Vänd locket (A) upp och ned Och öppna locket till
batterifacket. Ta ut batteriet och lägg i ett nytt
uppladdningsbart 18500 batteri, 3,2 V 800 mAh Li-Ion.
Kontrollera att det nya batteriet är rätt monterat.
3. Sätt på locket till batterifacket och Ladda det nya batteriet
fullt. Lämna det uttjänta batteriet till en återvinningsstation. A

Uttjänt produkt ska hanteras separat från
hushållsavfall och lämnas in för återvinning
enligt lokala regler för avfallshantering
REKLAMATIONSRÄTT
Enligt gällande lag ska produkten vid reklamation lämnas in på inköpsstället och
originalkvitto bifogas. Användaren är ansvarig för eventuella skador på produkten om
produkten använts till ändamål den inte är avsedd för eller om bruksanvisningen inte
följts. Reklamationsrätten gäller i sådant fall inte.

SLIK FUNGERER BELYSNINGEN
Belysningen levereres med et oppladbart batteri. I løpet av dagen konverterer solenergi-
panelet sollys til elektrisitet og lader batteriet. Om natten brukes denne energien og lyset
skrus på automatisk. Hvor lenge belysningen lyser avhenger av geografisk plassering,
vær og årstid. Batteriene bør skiftes når ladekapasiteten reduseres.
SOMMER- OG VINTERINNSTILLING
Bytte mellom sommer- og vinterinnstilling gjøres med bryteren på belysningens innside
(del A) I løpet av vinteren er batteriets ladeevne mye lavere og tiden som lyset lyser
blir kortere. Hvis du setter bryteren på vintermodus , sparer den på batterikapasiteten.
Lampen lyser lenger, men med svakere styrke. For best mulig ytelse anbefales det at
bryteren stilles inn på sommer og respektiv vinter.
RIKTIG PLASSERING
Velg et sted utendørs med direkte sollys, minst 8 timer pr. dag. På skyggefulle steder
lades batteriet ikke nok, derfor lyser belysningen kortere tid. Belysningen bør ikke plas-
seres i nærheten av sterke lyskilder som for eksempel
gatelykter. Belysningen kan i så fall bli slått av automatisk fordi sensoren inne
i belysningen blir påvirket.
