Congratulations on your purchase of a Rocketfish RF-WHTIB-A
Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Your Wireless Rear Speaker
Kit represents the state of the art in wireless speaker kit design,
and is designed for reliable and trouble-free performance.
This manual explains how to correctly install, operate, and get
the best performance from your wireless rear speaker kit. Read
this user guide carefully before installing your system, then
keep it near your system for quick reference.
Your Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit uses a proprietary 2.4
GHz wireless communication system to transmit low-latency,
high fidelity audio to a stereo amplifier, providing a superior
level of audio quality and resistance to interference.

The system accepts speaker-level inputs, and is compatible
with a complete range of multichannel home theater receiver
systems or home theater receivers.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an
equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the
product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the appliance.

3) Heed all warnings.

5) Do not use this apparatus near water.
6) Clean only with dry cloth.
7) Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that
produce heat.
9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades
and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong
are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the
manufacturer.
12) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
13) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus
has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.

Additional safety information
• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing
and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be
placed on the apparatus.
• The AC power plug or an appliance coupler is used as the
disconnect device. This disconnect device shall remain
readily operable.
• Read the Rating Labels on the bottom of the sender and
receiver for power input and other safety information.

Setting up your wireless rear speaker kit
The following diagram shows a typical home theater setup
using the Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. The following sections
provide further details on how to setup and operate this
product.

Connecting the wireless sender
Connecting the sender to the home theater
receiver
Caution: Turn off your home theater receiver while connecting
the units.
To connect the home theater receiver to the wireless
sender:
1Using the included 2-foot speaker cords, connect the right
rear speaker terminals of your home theater receiver to the
right speaker terminals of the wireless sender by connecting
the red wire to the red (+) terminals, and the black wire to
the black (-) terminals.

2Connect the left rear speaker terminals of the home theater
receiver the same way.
Notes:
Make sure that the exposed tips of the speaker wire do not
touch each other, and that they are fully inserted into the
terminals.
Speaker wire colors may vary with different speaker systems.
Make sure you connect your home theater receiver using the
rear speaker terminals only.
Connecting the wireless sender to the power
adapter
The power adapter can be connected to a power outlet or the
SWITCHED AC outlet of your home theater receiver. If you
connect it to the SWITCHED AC outlet of your home theater
receiver, each time you turn your home theater receiver on or
off, the wireless sender is also turned on or off.
Caution: To avoid risk of fire, and to prevent damage, only use
the power adapter supplied with your wireless rear speaker kit.
