Fit the protruding top part of the lid onto the
upper part of the battery compartment.
Slide it in until the 2 tabs click to close it firmly.
While pressing down on the clips,
lift the lid upward.
Use four new D batteries (alkaline)
and insert them as shown.
The clock will be reset when the batteries are
changed. After changing the batteries, make
sure to reset the clock.
Please remove and store the batteries when not
using PETLY for long periods of time. Deteriora-
tion of the insulation of batteries can cause
electric shocks, leak, fire, and various injuries.
