The Antenna is designed to be mounted indoors or outdoors. For example, it
may be hidden in an attic, mounted on siding under eaves or installed on a
rooftop. The Antenna will perform better if located outdoors, as high as pos-
sible and away from power outlets and wires inside the wall. Do not place
the Antenna directly beneath the TV or other electronic equipment.
Position in attic, on rooftop or under eaves. Reception will be best when the
Antenna is mounted outdoors and as high as possible. Mount in a location
with as few obstructions between the Antenna and transmitting towers as
possible.
Once the final installation location is selected, mount the Antenna as follows:
1. Select site location and use supplied template (cardboard insert with four
holes) to provide mounting screw locations. Drill holes taking care to
avoid drilling into electrical wires or any other critical hidden item.
2. Using a high quality silicone
sealer, inject generous por-
tions into each
hole.
3. Slip Lag Screws through the
holes in corners of your
Antenna. Slide Stand-
offs onto Lag Screws. The Stand-off
will retain Lag Screws on Antenna for the remainder of installation
process.
4. Use the Inline “F” Connector Coupler to attach a length of RG59 or RG6
Coaxial Cable (not included) appropriate for your application.
5. Position Antenna over pre-drilled holes. Using a wrench or screwdriver,
secure Lag Screws being careful not to over-tighten. Stand-offs should be
tight between Antenna and mounting surface.
There should be no need to reposition the Antenna once installed.
