WELCOME TO
QUILL FALCON
The Quill Fal on Cy lone system is a pre ision dustless blasting system whi h ombines
the simpli ity of onventional dry blasting with the effe tiveness of ultra-high pressure
(UHP) jetting without the asso iated hazards and ompli ations. The patented Cy lone
system rapidly removes oatings, orrosion and residues leaving surfa es ontaminant
free, profiled and leaned to SSPC-SP5 - SSPC-SP10 (WAB)/NACE WAB 1.
From the heavy task of blasting through reinfor ed on rete to the more deli ate and
detailed operation of et hing glass, the Quill Fal on Cy lone systems apabilities are
endless. By varying the volumes of air, water and grit, the speed, surfa e profile and grit
onsumption an be altered to suit you and your job requirements.
Whether you are blasting away orrosion as part of a maintenan e programme,
removing oatings for inspe tion purposes or removing material and residues that are no
longer required the Quill Fal on Cy lone system will provide you with lean ontaminant
free profiled surfa es in se onds.

HOW DOES THE QUILL FALCON
CYCLONE WORK?
The blast media is oated in a water ja ket by
surfa e tension, whi h in reases the speed and
mass enhan ing the for e of impa t upon the
blast surfa e. Water presen e lubri ates and
eliminates hose and nozzle wear.
The blast media hits the surfa e, the water
ja ket ontinues moving but still holds onto the
blast media by surfa e tension. The water
ja ket hits the surfa e and prevents any grit
boun e.
The water ja ket snaps round the blast media
into the ra k under the blast surfa e and
hydrostati ally blasts a larger amount of
surfa e oating away.
The end result is a profiled surfa e, feathered
edges and the most effi ient use of the least
amount of blast media and water.

rates based on average dosing settings. Water onsumption taken from water used at nozzle. Up to 1 litre of water per minute will be required to keep vessel pressurised. Grit
and water onsumption may vary a ording to size of ompressor, dosing valve setting, size of nozzle and type of blast media used. Fal on 30 weighed with standard (non
ATEX) wheels.
