WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic
household use only and should not be
used for any other purpose or in any
other application, such as for
non-domestic use or in a commercial
environment.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above if they
have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the

appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.
Appliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning

Children shall not play with the
appliance.

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water
may be ejected.
WARNING: Position the lid so that
steam is directed away from the handle.

the water is boiling.
The kettle is only to be used with the
stand provided.
The appliance must not be immersed.
CAUTION: Insure that the kettle is
switched off before removing it from its
stand.

The heating element surface is subject to
residual heat after use.
IMPORTANTSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS
yPlace the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.
yBe careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has
boiled, the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a
risk of scalding.
yDo not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill
the kettle beyond the maximum level indication.
yMake sure the bottom of the kettle and the power base are dry
before placing the kettle onto the power base.

OPERATION
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3
times following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or
residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
1. Remove kettle from power base.
2. Fill kettle with desired amount of water through the spout or the
open lid.
Press the lid release button and then open the lid.
The water amount ranges from the minimum amount 0. 5L to
the maximum amount 1.7L.
3. Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
4. Place the kettle on the power base and insert the plug into the
mains socket.
5. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.

∗The power indicator light will illuminate.
6. The kele will switch offautomacally when the water boils.
∗The power indicator light will go out.
∗You can stop the boiling process by seng the power switch to
“O”.
7. Slowly pour the boiling water to prevent it from flowing from the lid.
CLEANING AND DESCALING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool
down before cleaning.
Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaner to clean the
appliance.
Clean the outside of the kele and the power base using a slightly
damp cloth.
Regularly descale the kele using a specific descaler.
Wipe the inside of the kele with a clean cloth.

Si la bouilloire est trop remplie, de l'eau
bouillante peut être éjectée.
MISE EN GARDE: Mettre le couvercle en
place de façon telle que la vapeur ne
soit pas dirigée vers la poignée.
MISE EN GARDE: Ne pas enlever le
couvercle lorsque l'eau bout.
La bouilloire ne doit être utilisée
qu'avec le socle qui lui est associé.
L'appareil ne doit pas être immergé.
ATTENTION: S'assurer que la bouilloire
est hors tension avant de la retirer de
son socle.

yL’appareil doit être placé sur une surface plane et stable avant d'être
utilisé pour la première fois.
yLes jets de vapeur sont très chauds et constituent un risque de
brûlure: Faites très attention lors de l'ouverture du couvercle une
fois l'eau portée à ébullition.
yN'utilisez pas cette bouilloire pour faire chauffer quoi que ce soit
d'autre que de l'eau. Ne remplissez jamais la bouilloire au-delà du
trait maximum.
yAvant de mettre la bouilloire sur son socle, assurez-vous que le
dessous de la bouilloire et le socle lui-même sont secs.
