TX-129vm
VERKLARING VAN CONFORMITEIT
De Profoon TX-129vm is ontworpen voor gebruik op de ‘openbare
geschakelde telefonie netwerken (analoog enkellijns)’ van telefo-
nie- en kabelmaatschappijen binnen de Europese Unie.
Per land danwel provider kan een ander aansluitsnoer met stekker
benodigd zijn.
De Profoon TX-129vm voldoet aan de essentiele voorwaarden en
voorzieningen zoals omschreven in de Europese richtlijn
1999/5/EC.

INSTALLATIE
Wandmontage:
Wordt de TX-129vm aan een wand gehangen, boor dan boven
elkaar en met een onderlinge afstand van 10 cm twee gaten in de
wand en plaats hierin pluggen met schroeven; laat de kop van de
schroeven enkele millimeters uitsteken.
Til de hoornhanglip uit de houder en plaats deze 180° gedraaid
weer terug; deze lip houdt de hoorn vast bij muurmontage.
Hang de set op door de uitsparingen in de bodem van de
TX-129vm over de schroeven in de muur te schuiven en de tele-
foon licht naar beneden te drukken.
Het telefoonsnoer dient nadien met kabelbeugeltjes gefixeerd te
worden.
Telefoonhoorn:
Verbind de hoorn met het toestel door het krulsnoer in de modulai-
re aansluitingen in de hoorn en het toestel te klikken; druk de stek-
kertjes aan tot de klik.
Telefoon aansluiting:
Klik het kleine stekkertje aan het telefoonsnoer onder in het toestel;
druk de stekkertjes aan tot de klik.
Plug de telefoon steker in de telefoon wandcontactdoos.

GEBRUIK
Opgebeld worden:
Met de belschakelaar RINGER-ON/OFF in de basis, kunt u de bel
van de TX-129vm uitschakelen; aan het oplichten van de neon-
lampjes kunt u blijven zien dat u opgebeld wordt. Neem de hoorn
op en begin het gesprek.
Uitbellen:
Neem de hoorn op en toets, zodra de kiestoon klinkt, via het toet-
senbord het gewenste telefoonnummer in.
Laatste nummer geheugen:
Neem de hoorn op en wacht op de kiestoon.
Druk eenmaal op toets P/REDIAL; de TX-129vm kiest nu het laatst
gedraaide nummer automatisch één keer.
Opmerking: wordt de P/REDIAL toets ingedrukt NADAT een van
de cijfertoetsen is ingedrukt, dan fungeert deze toets als pauze
toets.
Pauze:
Indien u belt via een huis- of kantoorcentrale waarbij de buitenlijn
moet worden aangevraagd, is het raadzaam om na het aanvragen
van deze buitenlijn eenmaal op de P/REDIAL te drukken; het toe-
stel wacht nu even zodat de kiestoon tijd krijgt om door te komen.
Deze pauze-tijd wordt ook in het laatste nummer geheugen
bewaard zodat het herhalen van het nummer niet te snel gaat.
Opmerkig: Wordt de P/REDIAL toets ingedrukt VOORDAT een van
de cijfertoetsen is ingedrukt, dan fungeert deze toets als 'laatste
nummer geheugen' toets.
R/Flash:
De TX-129vm is uitgerust met een R/FLASH toets met een ver-
breektijd van 100mS. Met deze toets kunt u op sommige centrales
gesprekken doorverbinden of kunt u (toekomstige) netwerkdiensten
aanroepen. Raadpleeg hiervoor de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw
huis- of kantoorcentrale of de telefoon maatschappij.

VOICE MAIL
De VoiceMail indicatie is gebaseerd op het aantal belsignalen. Er is
geen garantie dat er ook daadwerkelijk een bericht voor u is inge-
sproken.
De voeding voor de telefoon, inclusief de VoiceMail indicatie, wordt
uit het telefoonnet betrokken. Er is geen extra voeding nodig.
Indien u uw Voice Mail heeft ingeschakeld, dan wordt de opbeller
na 5 belsignalen doorgeschakeld naar uw persoonlijke mail-box
alwaar hij/zij een boodschap voor u kan achterlaten.
Bij de TX-129vm wordt dit aangegeven door het knipperen van de
lampjes in de handset.
Let op dat de Voice Mail melding ook geactiveerd wordt indien de
opbeller geen bericht achterlaat of als u uw Voice Mail bij de tele-
foonmaatschappij niet heeft ingeschakeld.
Zodra u de hoorn van deze TX-129vm opneemt stopt het lampje
met knipperen (stopt de Voice Mail Indicatie); het is dus aan te
raden om als eerste gesprek uw Voice Mail af te luisteren.
Heeft u meerdere telefoons met een eigen Voice Mail Indicatie,
dan kunt u besluiten de Voice Mail indicatie van de TX-129vm uit
te schakelen. Schuif hiertoe de Voice Mail 0/1 schakelaar op het
toetsenbord in de positie 0 (uit); de telefoon blijft normaal functio-
neren echter zonder de Voice Mail Indicatie.
Met vragen betreffende Voice Mail dient u zich te richten tot uw
telefoon maatschappij.
ONDERHOUD
Plaats de telefoon niet in direct zonlicht of in een vochtige ruimte.
Het kabinet alleen reinigen met een vochtige doek, nooit chemi-
sche reinigingsmiddelen gebruiken.
Plaats de TX-129vm niet op met cellulose behandelde oppervlak-
ken; de rubberen voetjes kunnen hierop sporen achterlaten.
Onder bepaalde omstandigheden kan het geluid van de TX-129vm
beïnvloed worden door het elektro-magnetisch veld van zware
elektrische apparaten of radio/TV zenders die zich in de nabijheid
van de telefoon bevinden. Verplaatsing van de TX-129vm kan in
zo'n geval verbetering bieden. 4

Le PROFOON TX-129vm est projeter aux "réseaux téléphoniques
publics (analogue, une seule ligne)" des distributeurs de téléphonie
et télédistributions, dans l'Europe.
Le câble de raccordement et la fiche téléphonique dépend du pays
ou l'opérateur.
Le PROFOON TX-129vm répond aux conditions et équipements
essentiels, définiés par la directive européenne 1999/5/EC.

INSTALLATION
Fixation murale:
Si vous désirez accrocher le TX-129vm, forez deux trous, l'un 10
cm dessus l'autre et mettez deux fiches dedans; il faut que les
têtes des vises s'avancent quelques centimètres.
Glissez la languette hors du support et remettez-la, tourneé 180°,
dans le support; cette languette tient le combiné en cas de fixation
murale.
Poussez le téléphone dessus ces vis et retirez-le légèrement vers
le bas afin de l'accrocher.
Fixez le fil de téléphonique avec des cosses de câble.
Le combine:
Reliez le combiné avec la base par brancher le fil spiralé sur les
raccordements modulaires. Enfoncez les fiches jusqu'à ce que
vous entendez un déclic.
Les raccordements telephoniques:
Branchez la petite fiche du fil téléphonique sur la connection de la
base; enfoncez la fiche jusqu'au déclic.
Branchez la fiche téléphonique sur la prise femelle fixe.

UTILISATION
Reception d'un appel:
Vous pouvez débrancher la sonnette du TX-129vm à l'aide du
commutateur sonnette RINGER-ON/OFF du station de base. Les
petites lampes à Néon s'allument au moment que vous recevrez
un appel.
Décrochez et commencez la conversation. Coupez la communica-
tion par raccrocher.
Telephoner:
Déchrosez le combiné et attendez la tonalité et formez le numéro
de téléphone.
Repetition du dernier numero:
Vous avez composé un numéro d'appel et l'appeléne se manifeste
pas ou il est occupé. Raccrochez le récepteur et appuyer sur la
touche P/REDIAL. Le dernier numéro d'appel se forme automati-
que.
REMARQUE: La touche P/REDIAL fonctionne comme touche de
pause si vous l'appuyez après que vous avez utilisé une des tou-
ches numériques.
La touche de pause:
En regristrant p.e. un numéro téléphonique international, interlocal,
il peut être nécessaire d'insérer une pause entre le numéro du
pays/ de la ville. Pour ce faire, appuyer sur la touche de
P(ause)/REDIAL au point de séparation des chriffres. Cette pause
sera mémorisée pour la répétition du dernier numéro formé.
REMARQUE: Si vous appuyer la touche de PAUSE avant de for-
mer votre numéro, elle fonctionne comme la touche "repetition du
dernier numéro".
R/flash:
Utiliser la touche R/FLASH afin d'activer les services téléphonique
(consulter votre fournisseur) ou lorsque votre téléphone a été rac-
corde sur un central, il est possible de passer les communications.

VOICE MAIL
L’indication VoiceMail a été basée sur le mombre de sonneries. Il
n’y a aucune garantie que l’on vous ait laissé un message.
Le téléphone (l’indication VoiceMail incluse) s’alimente du réseau
téléphonique. On n’a pas besoin d’alimentation supplémentaire.
En activant le 'Voice Mail', vous permettez votre correspondant de
laisser une message à votre 'Mail Box' personnel. La ligne du cor-
respondant est transférée à votre 'Mail Box' après 5 signaux que
vous ne répondez pas.
Le clignoteur 'Voice Mail' de l'appareil TX-129vm annonce une (ou
plusiers) messages(s) au 'Mail Box'.
Attention: si le correspondant ne laisse aucune message, le 'Voice
Mail' est quand même activé; même si vous n'avez pas activé votre
'Voice Mail'.
Du moment que vous raccrochez le combiné de l'appareil
TX-129vm, le clignoteur s'éteint (l'indication 'Voice Mail' s'arrète).
On vous conseille d'ecouter le(s) message(s) avant d'appeler un
correspondant.
Si vous possédez plusieurs appareils télélephoniques pourvu d'un
fonction 'Voice Mail', vous pouvez débrancher le 'Voice Mail' du
TX-129vm: positionnez le commutateur VoiceMail au position 0:
l'appareil fonctionne d'une façon normale avec exception de la
fonction 'Voice Mail'.

ENTRETIEN
Ne mettez pas l'appareil près de moteurs, machines à laver, de
tubes luminescent; ceux-ci peuvent perturber les sons.
Ne pas utilisez d'aérosols ou de liquides nettoyants, utilisez un
chiffon doux.
Vous ne pouvez pas mettre le TX-129vm sur les surfaces, traitée
avec la cellulose.
Ne mettre pas le TX-129vm en plein lumière du soleil ou dans un
endroit humide.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
The Profoon TX-129vm is designed for use on the ‘public switched
telephone networks (analogue single-line)’ of telephone- and cable-
companies inside the EU.
Each country and/or provider might require a different telephone-
plug.
The Profoon TX-129vm complies to the essential requirements and
provisions as described in the European Directive 1999/5/EC.

INSTALLATION
Wall Mount:
Drill two holes in the wall with a distance of 10 cm and insert two
crews. Let the heads of the screws stick a few millimeters out of
the wall.
Lift the handsetholder for a few mm, rotate it 180° and replace it.
This holder will hold the handset when wall mounted.
Hang the unit on the wall and fixate the telephone wire by means
of cable-clips.
Connection:
Connect the handsetwire between the handset and base.
Connect the CO-wire to the backside of the telephone; push the
connectors till you hear a click.
Plug the telephone plug into your telephone outlet.

HOW TO USE
Incoming calls:
The ringer can be switched-OFF by means of the RINGER-
ON/OFF switch on the base. An incoming call is still visible through
the lighting lamps.
Lift the handset and start the conversation.
Outgoing Calls:
Lift the handset and wait for the dialtone. Key in the desired telep-
hone number.
Last number redial:
Lift the handset and wait for the dialtone. Press the P/REDIAL but-
ton; the TX-129vm now automatically redials the last dialed num-
ber.
NOTE: If REDIAL is pressed AFTER one of the number buttons
has been pressed, then it acts as a pause.
Pause:
In case you are calling through a PABX, it is preferable to press
the P/REDIAL button direct after the prefix (mostly 0).
NOTE: If this key is pressed BEFORE one of the number buttons
has been pushed, then this key acts as a REDIAL key.
R/flash:
The TX-129vm has a R/FLASH button to transfer calls when con-
nected to a PABX or to gain access to special services from your
provider. Consult the manual of your PABX or consult your provi-
der. The FLASH time is 100 mS.

VOICEMAIL
The VoiceMail indication is based on the count of ringerpulses.
There is no guarantee that actual a message is left in your mailbox.
The power supply to feed the VoiceMail circuit, comes from the
telephone exchange. There is no need for an external power sup-
ply or batteries.
When you have activated your personal VoiceMail, after 5 rings the
caller will be connected to your mailbox and has the possibility to
leave a message.
The TX-129vm has LED lamps which start to flash, indicating that
someone might have left a message.
Please note that in case the caller does not leave a message or in
case you have not activated the Voice Mail, after 5 rings this LED
will flash anyway.
As soon as you lift the handset of this telephone, the LEDs will go
OFF so it is recommendable to first dial the number of your
VoiceMail and listen if someone left a message for you.
In case more telephones with VoiceMail indication are connected,
you can turn the Voice Mail indication of this TX-129vm OFF (posi-
tion 0) using the VoiceMail switch on the keyboard.
If you have questions concerning the Voice Mail feature, please
contact your telephone company.
MAINTENANCE
Do not place the telephone in direct sunlight nor in wet surroun-
dings.
Clean the cabinet only with a damp cloth; do not use chemical cle-
ansers.
Do not place the TX-129vm on a cellulose based surface; the rub-
ber feet can damage the surface.
Avoid placing in Electro-magnetic fields; this might influence the
audio-quality.
