Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the endoscope camera PEK 2.4 B1. The endoscope
camera with a flexible gooseneck and adjustable LED lighting can be used in
inaccessible places to aid inspection and fault analysis.
The gooseneck is watertight to an immersion depth of up to 90 cm, and is
suitable for use in aqueous liquids. Please note that only the gooseneck and
not the operating unit (TFT screen with handle) may be exposed to moisture.
Use of the device in oils, lyes or acids is not permitted.
The endoscope camera is not suitable for medical applications or use and
should never be inserted into body orifices.
Please read the following instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with
the use of electronic devices.
Store these instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you pass on
the device to someone else, be sure to always include these instructions.

cause personal injury or damage to equipment.

Intended use
The endoscope camera PEK 2.4 B1 is an optical inspection device which is not
approved for medical use.
The endoscope camera with a gooseneck and LED lighting can be used in
inaccessible places to aid inspection and fault analysis.
The gooseneck is watertight to an immersion depth of up to 90 cm, and is
suitable for use in aqueous liquids. Please note that only the gooseneck and
not the operating unit (TFT screen with handle) may be exposed to moisture.

Safety instructions
LED radiation! Prevent eye injury!
Never look into the LED beam. In the event of suspected eye
injury, consult a doctor.
Keep electric devices away from children or persons with mental or
physical limitations! Never let such persons use electrical devices
without supervision. They cannot always recognise possible hazards.

Small parts can be fatal if swallowed. Also note that there is a risk of
suffocation if air passages are blocked by the plastic packaging.
If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or smells, the
device should not be used until it has been inspected by authorised
service personnel.
The endoscope camera is not approved for medical use! Risk of
potentially fatal injury!
Use on humans and animals is not permitted. The user and not the
manufacturer is responsible for any personal injury or damage to
equipment resulting from incorrect use.
Screen
If the LCD screen becomes scratched or damaged in any way, take special
care to ensure that no liquid is discharged from the screen.
If liquid has escaped, follow the instructions below:
If the liquid comes into contact with your skin, wipe it off with a clean
cloth and rinse the area of contact with large amounts of water.
If the liquid comes into contact with your eyes, wash them with running
water for at least 15 minutes and then go to a hospital immediately.
If you swallow the liquid, first rinse your mouth with water, then drink a
large amount of water and induce vomiting. Go to a hospital as soon as
possible.

Operational safety
If the endoscope camera is exposed to extreme temperature
fluctuations, condensation can lead to the accumulation of moisture
which can cause a short circuit. In this case, wait until the endoscope
camera has reached ambient temperature before use.
Always ensure correct battery polarity. Never try to recharge batteries
and never throw them into an open fire! Never mix batteries (old and
new, alkaline and carbon etc.) at the same time. Remove the batteries if
you will not be using the device for an extended period of time. If the
device is used improperly, there is a risk of it exploding or leaking!
Operating environment/Environmental
conditions
Keep the operating unit (TFT screen with handle) away from moisture.
Never place any objects filled with liquids such as vases or drinks on or
near the device. Prevent exposure to vibration, dust, heat and direct
sunlight. The device could be damaged as a result.
Ensure that no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are placed on or near
the device.
