Intended Use
This battery charger is intended for charging compatible
Powerbase 20V battery packs B0P-SP07-20-ZJ and B0P-SP06-
20ZH. It is for domestic and indoor use only. This battery charger
is not intended for commercial, trade or industrial use.

General Safety Warnings

a) Use this charger only to charge a
compatible Powerbase battery.
b) Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
c) Do not expose the charger to water.
d) Do not open the charger.
e) This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision
or instructions concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
f) Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
g) If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid
a hazard.

Operation
Charging indicators
a) The charger has 2 LED indicators: a red power indicator and a
green charging indicator.
b) The red power indicator is on when the charger is plugged into
the mains.
c) The green charging indicator flashes when it is charging the
battery, and when the battery is fully charged; the red indicator
is off and the green indicator is on.

Charging the battery
If the battery cannot fit into the charger properly, remove it
from the charger. Only charge a Powerbase battery in this
charger. If the battery is hot after use in the tool, let it cool
down before charging.
a) Connect the charger to the mains.
b) Insert the battery (not included) into the charger, until it clicks
into the locked position (Fig. 2).
c) Frequently monitor the charger and battery while charging.
d) It takes about 1 hour to charge a fully discharged 2.5Ah battery
and 1.5 hours for a 5.0Ah battery.
e) Remove the battery from the charger when it is fully charged
and unplug the charger from the mains.

f) To remove the battery from the charger, press the release
button on the battery and push the battery out at the same
time.
g) Let the battery to cool down before use.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage
Cleaning
a) Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt to prevent the
charger from overheating.
b) Regularly clean the charger with a soft cloth, preferably
after each use. If the dirt does not come off, use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Use a damp cloth only, not a wet
cloth.
c) Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol and ammonia water,
etc., to clean the charger. These solvents may damage the
plastic parts.
Maintenance
The charger has been designed to operate over a long period
of time with minimal maintenance. Continuous satisfactory
operation depends upon care and regular cleaning. The charger
should only be repaired by an authorised service centre.
Storage
Store the charger out of the reach of children in a stable and
secure place.
Disposal
Dispose of electrical appliances according to the
regulations and requirements of your local council. If
electrical appliances are disposed in landfills or dumps,
hazardous substances may leak into the ground water
and get into the food chain, damaging your health and
wellbeing.

We will offer you a free repair of the item where this is possible,
or a replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights remain
unaffected; in particular, any rights you may have under the
Consumer Rights Act 2015.
