The PistenBully operating manual is the primary manual.
It must be read and understood first.
Note that the PistenBully operating manual and the
additional information for the passenger cab are kept in
the storage compartment in the driver's cab at all times.

Intended use
Snow groomers may only be operated
in accordance with the operating
manual supplied by the manufacturer
of the PistenBully.
The PistenBully is designed
exclusively for:
- the preparation of ski trails.
- the preparation of ski slopes.
- clearing snow from paths.
- drivable routes in open terrain
(no public roads).
- transporting loads
The passenger cab is designed
exclusively for:
- transporting persons
- transporting material
- Any use above and beyond this re-
quires the written approval of the
manufacturer.
Can be operated on drivable routes
in open terrain.
Public roads may only be crossed
directly with the approval of the
relevant authority.
Offset crossing using an approved
route plan is permissible.
Check that the terrain is navigable
before using the PistenBully.
Driving speed will depend on the
terrain, on visibility and the
possible additional weight of a
passenger cab.
Before moving off, all passengers
must be seated on the benches
and fasten their seat belts.
The door to the passenger
compartment must be completely
closed. A warning tone sounds if
the door is open.
The rear view camera is
automatically switched on when
the vehicle is in reverse. The driver
can see the area at the rear of the
vehicle on the display.
Check the intercom between
driver's cab / passenger cab.

Before passengers exit the
passenger cab:
- Stop the PistenBully in a position
where there is a good view on all
sides.
- Park the PistenBully on a level sur-
face.
- Apply the parking brake
- Lower any additional attachments
- Switch off the diesel engine
- Extend the access ladder
Both locking bolts must be
engaged.
- Open the door of the passenger
cab and secure it with the locking
device.
Persons may only enter / exit the
cab via the extendable access
ladder.
Use the bar handle on the inside of
the door as an aid when climbing
up / down.
Emergency exit, roof window!
Pull on the red cable (emergency
pull-handle), push the sliding roof
upwards and to the side.
In cabins without a roof window,
use the emergency hammer to exit
the cabin.
Use the hammer to break the
passenger-side window and
remove shards of glass.
Carry out the prescribed
inspections / maintenance.
Snow groomers may only be
serviced by trained personnel
commissioned to do so by the
operator.
ROPS-certified structure!
Ribs and structure must not be
drilled into or welded.
