ThemultimediaspeakerusesBluetoothwirelesstechnologytostreammusicfrom
yourportabledevicetothesystem.
Note
•YourBluetoothdeviceshouldbewithBluetoothsoftwareofversion2.1orabove.
•BeforeyouconnectaBluetoothdevicetothismultimediaspeaker,familiarizeyourself
withtheBluetoothcapabilitiesofthedevice.
•Keepthismultimediaspeakerawayfromotherelectronicdevicesthatmaycause
interference.
•Makesurethatthemultimediaspeakerisinstalledproperlybeforeusing.

» Bluetoothwillbeactivatedautomatically.
» TheLEDindicatoronthemultimediaspeakerblinks.
• Toswitchoffthespeaker,rotatetheVOLknobcounter-clockwise,until
youhearoneclick.

• Fortherst-timeconnection,selectPhilips SPA4270 to start pairing.
» Forsomedevices,youmayneedtoinput“0000”aspairingpassword.
» Ifconnectionissuccessful,youwillheardoublebeepconrmation.
» The LED indicator lights in blue.
3 Playaudiowiththemediaplayerofyourdevice.
» Theaudiocomesoutthroughthemultimediaspeaker.
» Next time you switch on Philips SPA4270,thespeakerconnectstothe
lastpaireddeviceautomatically.
» To connect Philips SPA4270toanotherBluetoothdevice,switchoff
BluetoothoncurrentBluetoothdevice.

approximately 10 meters (30 feet).
•Anyobstaclebetweenthespeakerandthedevicecanreducetheoperationalrange.

1 Connectthe3.5mmaudioincable(xedtotheAUX-INsocketontheright
speaker)totheheadphonesocketontheexternaldevice.
» SPA4270BT exits Bluetooth pairing mode when the audio cable is
connectedtoanexternalaudiodevice.
2 Onthesidepaneloftherightspeaker,rotatetheVOLknobclockwise.
» TheLEDindicatoronthemultimediaspeakerturnsonstably.
3 Playmusicfromthedevice.
• Afteruse,rotatetheVOLknobcounter-clockwisetoswitchoffthe
multimediaspeakerandunplug.

To increase or decrease volume,
• Whenthemultimediaspeakeristurnedon,rotatetheVOLknobontheside
paneloftherightspeakertoadjustthevolume.
To adjust bass or treble level,
• Rotate the BASSknobonthebackpaneloftherightspeakertoadjustthe
bass.
