B-VOLUME+ Increases/decreases volume (hold to increase/decreases fast)

Install

Insert the CD supplied with your product into the CD ROM drive of your PC.1

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of2 Philips Device

Manager.

Connect and charge

Connect to PC

When you connect the player to the PC, it automatically charges.

Before you use the player for the rst time, charge it for at least 5 hours.1

The battery has a 100% charge after 4 hours and an 80% charge after 2 hours.>

Connect the supplied USB cable to the mini USB port at the bottom of the player, the2

other end to your PC.

The player will start to charge as soon as it is connected to your PC.>

Transfer

The player appears as a USB mass storage device in Windows Explorer.You can organize

les and transfer music, video, picture and text les to your player during USB connection.

Click and highlight one or more songs to transfer between the player and the computer.1

Use drag and drop actions to complete your transfer.2

Read the battery level indication of your player

The approximate power levels of your battery are indicated as follows:

Full Two-thirds full Half full Low Empty

Note When the batteries are almost empty, the battery screen

blinks.The player

saves all settings and unnished recordings and switches off in less than 60 seconds.

Note Only supported le formats (see technical data section of the user manual) are

suitable for transfer.

Turn on and play

To turn on, press y/2; until the display shows the Philips logo.

To turn off, press and hold y/2; until the display shows ‘Bye’.

Your player has an intuitive menu navigation system to guide you through various settings

and operations.

The player offers the following music mode options:

Video

Video play

You can play video clips that are stored on the player.

From the main menu, select1 to enter Video mode.

A list of video les stored on the player is displayed.>

Press2 3or 4 to select the le and press 2; to play.

Short press3 Oto go back to the previous menu, and long press Oto return to the main menu.

Fast forward / backward control

The player enables you to scan videos in fast forward / backward mode.

Fast forward / backward

Long press1 2to select 4x normal speed.

Press>2; anytime to resume normal speed play.

While in 4x normal speed mode, press2 2to cycle through the following speed options: 8x

normal speed > 16x normal speed > 4x normal speed…

Note File formats that are not supported by the player can cause lip sync issues during video

play.The supported video formats are listed in the technical data section of the user manual.
