ASSEMBLY
WARNING! DURING ASSEMBLY ENSURE THE GENERATOR IS
SWITCHED OFF.
Fitting the Wheels
1. Carefully remove contents from the packaging.
2.Selectarm,levelsurfaceonwhichtoassemblethegenerator.
1. Assembleonewheelontothelargediameterendofthewheelshaft,ensuringthe
sideofthewheelwiththeraisedcentrefacesthemiddleoftheshaft.
Placethewasherintothewheelhubandthenscrewthebolttightlyintothewheel
shaft.Youcanthenplacethewheelcapoverthebolthead.
2. Inserttheotherendofthewheelshaftthroughthemountingholesintheframeand
tighten the nut onto the shaft using 15mm and 17mm spanner.
Note:Donotovertightenthisnutcausingthewheeltonotrotate.
3. Repeat this process for the
secondwheel.

1. Place the support foot under
theframealigningwiththe
holes in the side frame. Insert
the support foot bolts through
the holes and fasten tightly
withthenut.

2. Repeatthisstepwiththe
second support foot on the
other side.
Fitting the Transport Handles
1. Align the hole of the transport
handlebracketwiththehole
in the frame as you push the
bracket over the frame.
2. Insert the handle bolt from
the outside through the
bracket and frame ensuring
thattheplasticwashersare
insertedbetweenthebracket
and frame. Fasten each bolt
totheframeinpositionwith
the nut provided.
3. Repeat the above steps for the second handle.

4. Thetransporthandlewill
pivotallowingittohangoutof
thewaywhennotinuse.

to transport the generator
easily.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-
operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1. Work area safety
a. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b. Donotoperatepowertoolsinexplosiveatmospheres,suchasinthepresenceofammableliquids,gasesordust.Power
toolscreatesparkswhichmayignitethedustorfumes.
c. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2. Electrical safety
a. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools.Unmodiedplugsandmatchingoutletswillreduceriskofelectricshock.
b. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an
increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.Waterenteringapowertoolwillincreasetheriskofelectricshock.
d. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat,
oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor
use reduces the risk of electric shock.
3. Personal safety
a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while
youaretiredorundertheinuenceofdrugs,alcoholormedication.Amomentofinattentionwhileoperatingpowertoolsmay
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.
b. Usepersonalprotectiveequipment.Alwaysweareyeprotection.Protectiveequipmentsuchasdustmask,non-skidsafety
shoes,hardhat,orhearingprotectionusedforappropriateconditionswillreducepersonalinjuries.
c. Preventunintentionalstarting.Ensuretheswitchisintheo-positionbeforeconnectingtopowersourceand/orbattery
pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carryingpowertoolswithyourngerontheswitchorenergisingpowertoolsthathavethe
switchoninvitesaccidents.
d. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on.Awrenchorakeyleftattachedtoarotatingpartofthe
powertoolmayresultinpersonalinjury.
e. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.Thisenablesbettercontrolofthepowertoolinunexpected
situations.
f. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.

g. If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and
properly used.Useofdustcollectioncanreducedust-relatedhazards.
h. Donotletfamiliaritygainedfromfrequentuseoftoolsallowyoutobecomecomplacentandignoretoolsafetyprinciples.
Acarelessactioncancausesevereinjurywithinafractionofasecond.
4. Power tool use and care
a. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Thecorrectpowertoolwilldothejobbetterand
saferattherateforwhichitwasdesigned.
b. Donotusethepowertooliftheswitchdoesnotturnitonando.Anypowertoolthatcannotbecontrolledwiththeswitchis
dangerous and must be repaired.
c. Disconnecttheplugfromthepowersourceand/orthebatterypackfromthepowertoolbeforemakinganyadjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools.Suchpreventivesafetymeasuresreducetheriskofstartingthepowertool
accidentally.
d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.Powertoolsaredangerousinthehandsofuntrainedusers.
e. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that
mayaectthepowertool’soperation.Ifdamaged,havethepowertoolrepairedbeforeuse. Many accidents are caused by
poorlymaintainedpowertools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.Properlymaintainedcuttingtoolswithsharpcuttingedgesarelesslikelytobindandare
easier to control.
g. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working
conditions and the work to be performed. Useofthepowertoolforoperationsdierentfromthoseintendedcouldresultina
hazardoussituation.
h. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not
allowforsafehandlingandcontrolofthetoolinunexpectedsituations.
5. Service
a. Haveyourpowertoolservicedbyaqualiedrepairpersonusingonlyidenticalreplacementparts.Thiswillensurethatthe
safetyofthepowertoolismaintained.
NOTE: Thefollowingwarningsapplywhenusingpowertoolswiththegeneratorsupply.

WARNING! When using mains-powered tools, basic safety precautions, including the following, should
alwaysbefollowedtoreduceriskofre,electricshock,personalinjuryandmaterialdamage.
Readthewholemanualcarefullyandmakesureyouknowhowtoswitchthetooloinanemergency,before
operating the tool.
Savetheseinstructionsandotherdocumentssuppliedwiththistoolforfuturereference.
Thepetrolgeneratorhasbeendesignedtooutput240Vonly.Alwayscheckthatthepowersupplycorrespondstothe
voltage on the rating plate.
Note:Thesupplyof230Vand240VtoolsareinterchangeableforAustraliaandNewZealand.
Using an Extension Lead
Alwaysuseanapprovedextensionleadsuitableforthepoweroutputfromthisgenerator.Beforeuse,inspecttheextension
leadforsignsofdamage,wearandageing.Replacetheextensionleadifdamagedordefective.Whenusinganextension
leadonareel,alwaysunwindtheleadcompletely.Useofanextensionleadnotsuitableforthepowerinputofthetoolor
whichisdamagedordefectivemayresultinariskofreandelectricshock.
It is recommended at a minimum that 1.5mm2HeavyDutyextensionleadsareusedwiththeGeneratorandthatthelength
iskeptasminimalaspossibletopreventpowerloss.Allextensionleadsmustincorporateanearthingconductortoensure
thatthereisnovoltagedierencebetweenthegeneratingsetandanyequipmentpoweredbythegeneratingset.
WARNING! Damaged or overloaded extension cords could overheat, arc, and burn, resulting in death or
serious injury.
IMPORTANT! Whenusingtheequipment,afewsafetyprecautionsmustbeobservedtoavoidinjuriesand
damage. Please read the complete operating manual with due care. Keep this manual in a safe place so that the
informationisavailableatalltimes.Ifyougivetheequipmenttoanyotherperson,givethemtheseoperating
instructions as well.

Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebyyoungorinrmpersonsunlesssupervisedbyaresponsiblepersontoensurethat
theycanusetheappliancesafely.Youngchildrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.
• The generator is designed to give safe and dependable service if operated according to instructions.

•Gasolineisextremelyammableandexplosiveundercertainconditions.Refuelinawellventilatedareawiththeengine
stopped.
•Keepawayfromcigarette,smokeandsparkswhenre-fuellingthegenerator.Alwaysrefuelinawellventilatedlocation.
•Preventthespillingoffuelasthismayalsoignitewiththehotmotor.Wipeupspilledgasolineatonce.Neverrefuelwhilst
the engine running.
•Connectionsforstandbypowertoabuilding’selectricalsystemmustbemadebyaqualiedelectricianandmustcomply
withallapplicablelawsandelectricalcodes.Improperconnectionscanallowelectricalcurrentfromthegeneratortoback
feedintotheutilitylines.Suchbackfeedmayelectrocuteutilitycompanyworkersorotherswhocontactthelinesduring
apoweroutage,andwhenutilitypowerisrestored,thegeneratormayexplode,burn,orcauseresinthebuilding’s
electrical system.
•Storethegeneratorinadryareaawayfrominammableliquids.
•Alwaysmakeapre-operationinspectionbeforeyoustarttheengine.Youmaypreventanaccidentorequipmentdamage.
•Placethegeneratoratleast1m(3ft)awayfrombuildingsorotherequipmentduringoperation.ALWAYSoperate
generator a minimum of 2 meters from any conductive surface eg. metals.
•Personswhoarettedwithaheartpacemaker,orsimilarmedicalconditionsshouldtakecarewhenusingthisdevice.
EventheextralowvoltageoftheBatterychargingoutputshouldnotbehandledbyapersonwithmedicalconditionsasor
similar to the above.
•Operatethegeneratoronalevelsurface.Ifthegeneratoristilted,fuelspillagemayresult.
•Donotoperateinahazardouslocation.Suchareasincludewherethereisariskofexplosionofpetrolfumes,leakinggas
or explosive dust.
•Knowhowtostopthegeneratorquicklyandunderstandoperationofallthecontrols.Neverpermitanyonetooperatethe
generatorwithoutproperinstructions.
•Keepchildrenandpetsawayfromthegeneratorwhenitisinoperation.
•Keepawayfromrotatingpartswhilethegeneratorisrunning.
•Thegeneratorisapotentialsourceofelectricalshockswhenmisused;donotoperatewithwethands.
•Yourpowertoolshouldonlybepassedonwiththeseinstructions.
•Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensuretheydonotplaywiththeappliance.
•Donotuseinrainorwetweather.

WARNING! Do not parallel connect other cables to receptacles, use special jack, or it may cause an electrical
shock.
WARNING!Themuerbecomesveryhotduringoperatingandremainshotforawhileafterstoppingthe
engine.Becarefulnottotouchthemuerwhileitishot.Lettheenginecoolbeforestoringthegeneratorindoors.
WARNING!Exhaustcontainspoisonouscarbonmonoxide.Donotoperategeneratorinconnedarea.Besure
to operate the generator in a well-ventilated environment or with an aerator. Using a generator indoors will kill you
in minutes. Never use in the home or in a partly enclosed area such as garages. Only use outdoors and far from
open windows doors and vents.
WARNING! Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that could kill you in minutes. You
cannot smell it, see it, or taste it. Even if you do not smell exhaust fumes, you could still be exposed to carbon
monoxide gas. If you start to feel sick, dizzy, or weak while using this product, get fresh air right away. See a
doctor. You may have carbon monoxide poisoning.
WARNING!TheoutputofthisgeneratingsetispotentiallyLethal.Thesetshallnotbeconnectedtoaxed
electricalinstallation(suchashouseholdwiring)byxedwiringexceptbyanappropriatelylicensedperson.
WARNING! The inverter generator is supplied with a grounding terminal that may reduce the risk of
electrocution in certain applications. The system ground is connected tot he AC neutral wire (the neutral is
bondedtothegeneratorframe).Alwaysconsultaqualiedelectricianbeforeconnectingthegroundingterminal
or when using the generator for applications other than direct connection of appliances (such as connection to a
caravan).
WARNING! Do not operate in hazardous location e.g. Where there may be a risk of explosion of petrol fumes,
leaking gas or explosive dust.
WARNING!Donotoperateinaconnedareawhereexhaustgases,smokeorfumescouldreachdangerous
concentrations.
WARNING! Do not refuel while engine is running.
• This generator is NOT intended to be used in a construction site, worksite or demolition site. It is intended for
DIY use only.
• Only use this Generator with 91 RON Unleaded Petrol.
• Donotoperatethegeneratorwhenyouaretiredorundertheinuenceofdrugs,alcohol,ormedication.
• The generating set must not be connected to other power sources.
•Theelectricalcontinuityofthe‘earthing’coreshouldbecheckedperiodicallyfrompintosockettoensurecontinued
electrical safety.
•Someelectricalappliances,e.g.portabledrills,aremarkedor‘doubleinsulated’,inwhichcasetherewillnotbean
earthingconductorinitsmainslead(eventhoughitmayhavea3-pinplug).
•Maintainnormalsafetyprecautionswithappliancesandaccessoriesasforuseonnormalreticulatednormalsupply.
