Instructions for use
The ONS Light Unit Set can only be used together with ONS compatible Outwell tents or awnings.
The ONS Light Unit Set is required to use the Outwell Nightlight System on compatible tents or awnings.
Before first use, make sure the light units are fully charged. See section 3.
1. Installation in tent/awning
Place one ONS Light Unit in each pocket.
Insert the Light Beading end into the opening of the Light Beading port (9) on the light unit, until the Light Beading reaches a stop inside the
light unit. This means that the black part of the Light Beading will sit just below the outer surface of the light unit head. Do not use excessive
force to install the Light Beading into the Light Beading port (9). Make sure the set screw (10) is backed out enough to allow the Light Beading
to be inserted.
If needed use the set screw (10) to lock the Light Beading into the light unit. Take care not to overtighten the set screw. The set screw should only
just touch the Light Beading. In many circumstances, the Light Beading will stay in place, in the light unit, without tightening the set screw.
To install the ONS Light Units in the tent or
awning locate the ONS pockets.
Free the Light Beading from the retainer
inside the pocket.

Insert the USB C end of the charging cables (3) into the USB C charge port (13) on the light units. Connect the other end of the charging cables
to a suitable USB power source.
The charging LED (12) will light red when charging. It will change to green light, when fully charged.
If desired, the light units can be charged while installed in the tent/awning. To do so, insert the charging cable (3) through the opening in the
bottom of the light unit pockets (16), and follow the charging instructions above.
4. Troubleshooting

brightest setting, the other on a dimmed setting (this happens
when one light unit receives a signal from the remote,
but the other unit doesn’t):
