INSTALLATION GUIDE

THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE (NEC)

AND ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL ELECTRIC CODES AND SAFETY STANDARDS.

USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING THIS PRODUCT DURING OR AFTER OPERATION AS IT MAY BECOME

HOT AND CAUSE BURNS. DISCONNECT PRODUCT AND ALLOW COOLING PRIOR TO SERVICING.

ANY ALTERATION OR MODIFICATION OF THIS PRODUCT IS EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN AS IT MAY CAUSE

SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND/OR PRODUCT MALFUNCTION.

TO PREVENT PRODUCT MALFUNCTION AND / OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK THIS PRODUCT MUST BE

PROPERLY GROUNDED.

THIS LUMINAIRE IS DESIGNED TO OPERATE IN AMBIENT TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM -4C TO 4C

THIS PRODUCT IS SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS.

PermaLED Area Light luminaires are environmentally

preferable, LED alternatives to traditional high-intensity

discharge luminaires with up to 450W HID leading to

energy savings of up to 75% compared to HID.

The luminaires are available with 2 integrated control

options of either a standard photosensor or a dual-

technology motion and photocontrol sensor and provides

up to 10kV surge protection for effective suppression of

most transient AC line surges. Luminaires are ETL listed

in the United States and Canada, assembled in the USA

and backed by a 5 year warranty.

UNPACKING

Thoroughly inspect the fixture for freight damage. Freight damage should be reported to the delivery carrier.

Compare the catalog/model number description on the packing slip with the fixture label to assure that you have

received the correct product.

INSTALLATION

1. Unlatch (4) power supply compartment latches.

2. Attach arm to pole using hardware provided thread - through flat

washer and pole and then through mounting arm, flat washer, lock washer and nut. Tighten nuts to 236 in-

lbs.

3. Attach arm to fixture using hardware provided  bolts and rubber sealing

washers through mounting holes near rear wiring entrance. Thread bolts through sealing washer

and then through fixture mounting holes as shown below. Then thread arm over bolts and add sealing

washer, lock washer and nut. Tighten nuts to 236 in-lbs.

4. Re-latch power supply compartment latches.

5. Connect supply leads to 14 AWG stranded wiring cable provided.

6. Attach arm cover using screws provided.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To maintain the fixture efficacy, an occasional cleaning of the outer lens surface may be needed

Use a mild soap or detergent, which is essentially neutral pH, nonabrasive, and which contains no

chlorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Wash thoroughly, using a soft cloth

Rinse with clean, cold water and wipe dry
