Stylish and environmentally friendly pellet garden heaters from ORTE perfectly suited for cool evenings, providing
warmth in the garden or on the terrace, as well as during any other outdoor events.
The garden air heater is made of the highest quality materials, and thanks to its modern design the pellet fuelled
garden heater can be placed in even the most sophisticated surroundings. The product is available in a range screen
designs and colours (RAL).

Read all the safety instructions in this manual before using the garden heater.
DANGER
Failure to observe the warnings, cautions and recommendations contained in this manual and helping to avoid the
dangers could result in fire or explosion and in serious personal injury, death and property damage.
NEVER cover up the garden heater if the hearth is not extinguished. It can be covered eg. to protect against external
influences ONLY 24 hours after the hearth expires and after emptying the hearth.
Do not use indoors! The air heater is designed for outdoor use only. If the air heater is used in a room, toxic fumes can
cause severe injury or death.
Use the air heater only outdoors in a well-ventilated area. Do not use the air heater in a garage, building, covered passage,
and other enclosed spaces.
Do not use the air heater under aerial flammable structures.
The air heater is not intended for installation in or on recreational vehicles and/or boats.
CAUTION! Do not use spirits, gasoline and other similar liquids to kindle the garden heater! Use only tinder made in
accordance with EN 1860-3.
We recommend using solid tinder. Do not use liquid tinder.
Incorrect assembly is dangerous. Follow the assembly instructions described in this manual. Do not use the air heater
until all parts are mounted. Check that the ash pan is in place and that the hearth is properly installed before firing the air
heater.
Use common sense when using the air heater. The air heater heats up during operation and should never be left
unattended after being fired.
Children and pets should stay away from the hot air heater and always under the care of adults.
Do not move the hot air heater. Do not move the air heater after the fuel inside it has been ignited. Before moving the
air heater, wait until it has cooled down.
Do not use the air heater within two meters of combustible materials. Combustible materials include, but are not limited
to, wood or treated wooden boards, terraces or porches.
Do not place flammable materials less than 65 cm from the top, bottom, rear and sides of the air heater.
There must be no flammable vapors or liquids such as gasoline, alcohol, etc., and flammable substances in the place of
use of the air heater.
Do not remove the ash pan until the pellets have burned out and the air heater has cooled down.
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing when lighting up and operating the air heater. While burning pellets, never bend over

the open hearth. CAUTION: On a clear day it is possible not see the flame.
Combustion by-products include chemicals that are recognized in some places as contributing to cancer, congenital
defects or other fetal malformations.
Do not use the air heater in strong winds.
Always follow local fire regulations that outline the rules for using and marking and setting garden air heaters.
WARNING
Set the air heater on a safe, even surface where flammable materials are not located.
Do not use water to control sparking or extinguishing of pellets, as steam may evaporate. Always have an ABC type fire
extinguisher nearby.
Always wear protective gloves to operate the air heater, control the furnace, and add pellets.
Do not place hot plates on material or grass.
Never throw away hot pellets and ash.
Never walk onto ash or glowing pellets until they are completely extinguished.
Prepare the air heater for storage when ash and pellets are fully extinguished.

GARDEN HEATER ASSEMBLY MANUAL
ATTENTION!!! GLASS PIPE –PLEASE REMOVE CAREFULLY FROM THE BOX AT THE END OF THE ASSEMBLY.
2 persons are required for the assembly.
ATTENTION!!! The product contains small elements that can be swallowed.
Tools required for the assembly: a Phillips screwdriver and two open-ended spanners size 10.
The tools are not included.
It is recommended to assembly the heater on flat and soft ground in order not to damage its painted elements.
1. Turn the castors using the M8 screw and the self-locking nut (SM8 NK) as shown in Figure 1.1.
Fasten the castors (K) and the leg (N) with screws M5 (ŚM5) - 4 for each castor, and 1 for the leg mounted to
the floor (P) like on picture 1.2.

2. Remove the inner hearth (PW) from the hearth shield (OP) and prepare the hearth holders (UP).
Fix the hearth (P) on the floor of the heater (PO) with screws (W) by screwing them to the hearth holders
(UP).
Make sure that the hearth is well oriented, with the hook in the opposite direction of the trolley. (Fig. 2)
Replace the inner hearth (PW) to the hearth shield (OP).

ATTENTION!!!: In the PLUS models the capacity of the hearth is adjustable (fig. 2.1- 2.3). The adjustment is
made with a handle before the inner hearth is put into the hearth shield (OP).

Standard furnace without capacity adjustment is shown in the drawings: 2.4, 2.5, 2.6.
Use the M6 screw and the self-locking nut (NM6S) to attach the locking hook (ZB) to the floor heater (PO)
as shown in Figure 2.7.

3. Fasten the magnetic holders with magnetic washers (PM) as in fig. 3 using 4 screws M4 (ŚM4).

4. Connect the bottom plates (BDL and BDP) with 2 M6 screws as shown in Figures 4.2 and 4.3 Use
the top screw to attach hook fig 4.2. Screw the magnetic brackets to the bottom plate walls with
screws (W) fig. 4.1

5. Fasten the connected bottom metal pieces to the floor (P) with 4 screws M6 as in fig. 5.1.
Fasten the support (W) to the side metal pieces with 4 screws M5 as in fig. 5.2.
Attach a safety chain locking the boiler to the hooks as shown in Fig. 5.3

6. With 6 screws M6 fasten the hearth shield (OP) to the bottom metal pieces and the support as in fig. 6.1.
ATTENTION: Do not drive the screws fully into the bottom metal pieces. The top metal pieces will be put on
them later.
Fasten the top metal pieces together (BGL and BGP) with 2 screws M6 (ŚM6) (fig. 6.3) and then push them
onto the screws M5 of the hearth shield (OP) as in fig. 6.1. The 4 screws M5 (ŚM5) must also be driven into
the sides of the top metal pieces as in fig. 6.2, leaving approx. 2 mm clearance between the head of the screw
and the top metal piece. They will be used for hanging the top door (DG) –see fig. 10.

7. Fasten the centring ring (PC) to the chimney (K) with 3 bolts. Mount the heater cap (CO) with 3 screws M5 as
in fig. 7.
