GETTING STARTED

TIP: To maximize the performance of your camera and for greater battery life, use

NiMH rechargeable type batteries. Please refer to the "Addendum" for more details.

SECURE DIGITAL (SD) AND MULTI-MEDIA CARD (MMC)

It is recommended that all memory cards are formatted using the Format

option before using them with this digital camera. Memory cards formatted

using other devices may be incompatible.

When the SD card is installed, all images and movies taken are automatically

stored on the card. Images and movies in the internal memory cannot be

accessed until the card is removed.

The SD card will not insert fully into the slot if it is facing the wrong way. Be

careful not to apply undue force to the card.

Your camera is

shipped with

two AAA-sized

batteries. Insert

the batteries as

shown on the

compartment lid.

You may

damage your

camera if the

batteries are

installed

incorrectly.

1. Pass the

short, thin loop

of the strap

through the

camera’s

strap ring.

2. Pass the

other end of

the strap

through

the loop.

3. Tighten by

pulling the loop.

Please read and carefully follow the user manual for instructions on connecting

the camera to your PC or macintosh.

BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY

QUICK START

1. Frame your subject in the viewfinder. You can also view the subject on the OSD.

2. Press the Shutter Release Button.

3. The image taken is displayed on the OSD for approximately a second (Auto

Review).

4. Once theAuto Review has finished, you may proceed to take the next picture.

When memory is full, no more images can be stored. The camera will

beep and the words “Internal Memory Full” or “Memory Card Full” will

appear on the LCD if you press the Shutter Release Button.

5. When you have finished taking your pictures, slide the Mode Switch to Off.

Connecting to PC

1. Hold the

camera firmly.

2. Avoid blocking

the lens and flash.

3. Do not move

nor remain in

motion while

taking pictures.

1. Slide the Mode Switch to Camera Mode.

2. Press and hold the Power button to

turn the camera on.

3. Check the battery indicator, making

sure there is enough power.

4. Loop the strap over your wrist.

Inital Flash Settings

When you turn on your camera, the inital flash setting will vary depending on the

level of your battery.

Il est recommandé de formater toutes les cartes mémoire en utilisant

l’option Format avant de les utiliser avec cet appareil numérique.

Les cartes mémoire formatées avec d’autres systèmes peuvent être

incompatibles.

Quand la carte SD est installée, toutes les images et les films pris sont

automatiquement stockés sur la carte. Il est impossible d’accéder aux

images et films de la mémoire interne tant que la carte est en place.

La carte SD ne peut entrer complètement dans la fente si elle est à l’envers. Ne

forcez pas pour la mettre en place.

TIP: Pour optimiser les performances de votre appareil photo numérique et maximiser

la durée des batteries nous vous conseillons l'emploi de piles rechargeables

NiMH. De plus amples détails se trouvent dans une annexe au guide d'utilisateur.

Connexion au PC

1. Tenez

solidement

l’appareil photo.

2. Evitez

d’obstruer

l’objectif et le

flash.

3. Ne bougez pas

et ne vous

déplacez pas en

prenant la photo

1. Glissez l’interrupteur de mode sur le

mode d’appareil photo.

2. Appuyer et tenir le bouton de Mise en

marche pour allumer l’appareil photo.

3. Vérifiez le témoin des piles et assurez-

vous qu’elles sont assez puissantes.

4. Enroulez la lanière autour du poignet.

Préparer l’appareil Tenir l’appareil

1. Cadrez le sujet dans le viseur. Vous pouvez aussi voir le sujet sur l’écran.

2. Appuyez sur l’obturateur.

3. L’image prise est affichée sur l’écran pendant une seconde environ (RevueAuto).

4. Une fois que la RevueAuto est terminée, vous pouvez passer à la photo suivante.

Lorsque la mémoire est pleine, aucune photo ne peut être stockée.

L'appareil photo numérique sonnera et la phrase "mémoire interne

pleine" ou "Carte mémoire pleine" apparaîtra à l'écran en pressant le

bouton Shutter release

5. Quand vous avez terminé les prises de vue, glissez l’interrupteur de mode sur Off.

Quand vous mettez votre appareil sous tension, le réglage initial du flash varie en

fonction du niveau de la pile.
