CONNECTION TO
THE MAINS SUPPLY
The appliance should only be connected to an earthed socket
installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that
the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the
rating label. This product complies with all binding CE labeling
directives.
BEFORE USING
FOR THE FIRST TIME
Clean the kettle, boil and discard the filled water.
BOILING WATER
1. Remove the water container from its base.
2. Press the lid-opener on the handle to open the lid, and fill the
container with water to the desired level, observing the Min
(0.5 l) and Max (1.7 l) markings.
3. Close the lid and place the container back on its base.
4. Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket and press the
On/Off switch; the indicator light turns on.
5. The boiling process begins. After reaching the boiling point,
the appliance is automatically turned off; the indicator light
turns off.6. To interrupt the boiling process, set the On/Off
switch to off position.
7. To pour hot water, remove the container from its base.
8. To prevent hot steam from being emitted, ensure that the lid
remains closed while pouring out the water.
9. Remove the plug from the wall outlet after use.
10. Do not leave any residual water in the container.
POWER CORD
WIND-UP STORAGE
The wind-up power cord storage under the base facilitates
limiting the length of the power cord during use and makes it
easy to store the appliance.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected
from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
2. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the kettle
and the base with water and do not immerse them in water. Do
not clean under running water.
3. For cleaning, a slightly damp, lint-free cloth may be used.
4. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions, and do
not use hard brushes for cleaning.
DESCALING
Depending on the water quality in your area, lime deposits
may build up on the heating element. It is advisable to remove
any such deposits at regular intervals.
Any warranty claim will be null and void if the appliance
malfunctions because of in sufficient descaling.
A mixture of 0.5 liters of water and 40 ml of vinegar essence or
a table spoon of citric acid are suitable.
- Pour in the descaler.
- Switch the appliance on and let the solution reach boiling
point.
- Leave it to take effect for a short period.
- To clean the container after descaling, rinse thoroughly with
clean water.
