How about that. Welcome to the

NIXON side, a side that’s about

custom-built product, quality,

and durability.

We’re stoked you selected one

of our watches. The fact that you

bought a NIXON means you can

probably tell time, but you may

not be familiar with all the doo-

dads and features of our watches.

So if you’re stuck, read through

these instructions. Or get your

friends to read them and then they

can tell you what’s up.

dreht sich alles um massgeschneiderte

produkte, qualitat und haltbarkeit.

Wir freuen uns, dass sie eine unserer

uhren ausgewahlt haben. Die tatsache,

dass sie eine NIXON gekauft haben.

Bedeutet, dass sie vermutlich jetzt

jemandem die aktuelle uhrzeit sagen

koennen. Aber wahrscheinlich sind sie

nocht nicht mit all den features und

funktionen unserer uhren vertraut. Falls

sie also mal nicht mehr weiterkommen,

lesen sie sich einfach diese anleitung

durch. Oder ihre freunde sollen sie

lesen. Dann konnen die ihnen sagen

wie’s funktionert.

*RINSE WATCH WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER

EXPOSURE TO SALT WATER OR SAND.

Replace the battery at least every two years. Dead

or low batteries left in a watch may leak and destroy

the movement of your watch. If you have a water

resistant watch, know that the water resistancy is

attained using rubber or plastic seals which will

deteriorate under normal conditions and reduce the

water resistancy of your watch. These seals should

be checked by an authorized jeweler at least every

two years to ensure the rated water resistancy. Do

not expose your watch to extreme temperatures

(over 60ºC or 140ºF, under -10ºC or 14ºF). No hot

tubs or saunas. Sorry, but do you really need to know

the time when you’re tubbing?

Avoid extreme shocks.

11 FUNCTIONALITY

THE DUO features a Swiss made movement with:

-SYNCHRONIZED ANALOG AND DIGITAL FUNCTION

-DUALTIME (2ND TIME ZONE), 12/24 H FORMAT

-DAILY ALARM

-1/100 SECOND CHRONOGRAPH WITH SPLIT

FUNCTIONS

-EL BACKLIGHT

The digital display can be turned on or off, and set to

display the following: TIME ZONE 2 or DATE.

To cycle through the modes press the CROWN

- the sequence is as follows :

HOME SCREEN (blank, power save)

ALARM

TIME 2

CHRONOGRAPH

DAY/DATE

In any mode turn the crown 90 degrees to activate the EL

Backlight.

22 SETTING THE ANALOG TIME

ANALOG TIME features:

-hours, minutes, and seconds

To set the ANALOG TIME :

-Pull the CROWN out to Position 1.The digital display

will light up with the current time and the seconds hand

will stop

-Turn the CROWN either direction to set the time

-Turn the CROWN and hold to advance the time rapidly

-Press PUSHER A to toggle between 12 or 24 H format (for

digital display)

-Push the CROWN all the way back in

From the HOME SCREEN (blank), press the CROWN once

to proceed to ALARM MODE.

Press PUSHER A to turn alarm on / off.Watch will beep

when alarm is turned on.

ALARM SETTING :

-Press and hold PUSHER B for 2 seconds to enter the alarm

setting state (hours will begin to blink).

-Press PUSHER A to increase the time value

-Press PUSHER B to move from hour to minute

-Press the CROWN or wait 5 seconds to exit alarm setting

state

In ALARM MODE :

-Press the CROWN to proceed to TIME 2 MODE

TIME 2 MODE features:

-Time of day in hour, minutes, AM/PM (12 or 24 H format)

To set TIME 2 :

-Press and hold PUSHER B for 2 seconds to enter the time

setting state (hours will begin to blink)

-Press PUSHER A to increase the time value and PUSHER B

to move from hour to minutes.

-Press the CROWN or wait 5 seconds to exit time setting

state

Note: Analog and Digital minutes will either match, or be

exactly 30 minutes apart.To change the minute value in

smaller increments, do so by changing the Analog Time

(step 2).

In TIME 2 MODE:

-Press the CROWN to proceed to CHRONOGRAPH MODE

-1/100 th second up to 24 hours

To use the CHRONOGRAPH :

-Press PUSHER A to start/stop the chrono counting.

-Press PUSHER B when stopped to reset to zero.

-Press PUSHER B when counting to split counter.

In CHRONOGRAPH MODE:

-Press the CROWN to proceed to DAY/DATE MODE.

DAY/DATE MODE features:

-Day of week and date

To set the DAY / DATE :

-Press and hold PUSHER B for 2 seconds to enter the day/

date setting state.

-Press PUSHER A to advance the value or hold PUSHER A to

advance the value rapidly.

-Press PUSHER B to move from Year YY, to Month MM, to

Day DD.

-Press the crown or wait 5 seconds to exit day/date setting

state.

In DAY / DATE MODE:

-Press the CROWN to proceed to the HOME SCREEN.
