Instructions for MN2707 USA MAP DVD ROM

1. Connect Nextar MN2707 GPS to your PC with the USB cable it came with.

2. Turn on the GPS unit.

3. Insert the DVD to your PC.

4. If your PC has auto start, the installer will run automatically and the following

screen will appear:

5. If your PC does not have auto start, right click on the DVD drive, click “open”,

then click on the “notice.exe” icon.

6. Fill out the requested elds and click “upgrade”. (Note: The DVD serial number

is located on the DVD label)

7. The program will automatically unzip and transfer all necessary les to your

GPS.

8. Once the transfer is complete, the following notice will appear:

Click “OK”.

9. Disconnect the USB cable and reboot the GPS.

10. Follow the instruction prompt on the GPS screen to complete the map upgrade.

***IMPORTANT***

The nal step of the upgrade process may take up to 50 minutes to complete.

Please ensure there are no power interruptions to the GPS during this time.

1. Connectez le Nextar MN2707 GPS à votre PC à l’aide du câble USB inclus.

2. Activez l’unité GPS.

3. Insérez le DVD dans votre PC.

4. Si votre ordinateur contient la fonction auto start, le logiciel se mettra automa

tiquement en route et « Insérez image » apparaîtra sur l’écran.

5. Si votre PC ne contient pas la fonction auto start, cliquez à droite sur votre

unité DVD et cliquez « open » et ensuite sur « notice.exe » .

6. Remplissez les encadrés nécessaires et cliquez sur « upgrade » (Notez : Le

numéro de série du DVD se trouve sur l’étiquette du DVD).

7. Le logiciel va se décompacter automatiquement et transférer tous les chiers

nécessaires sur votre GPS.

8. Le transfert étant terminé, « Insérez image » va apparaître sur l’écran.

Cliquez « OK »

9. Déconnectez le câble USB et réinitialisez le GPS.

10. Suivez les instructions sur l’écran GPS pour terminer l’actualisation de vos cartes.

***IMPORTANT ***

La dernière étape du processus d’actualisation pourrait bien durer jusqu’à 50

minutes. Veillez à ce qu’il n’y ait pas d’interruptions de la connexion électrique

vers le GPS durant cette période.
