How to install the product
Description of the assemblies
Mounting base for wall mounting Mobile mounting base for free-standing mounting
Mounting the detector on a wall
First of all, you have to choose if you want to activate the anti-theft system or not. If not, you can go
directly to the section: installation of the mounting base.
Activate and remove a product installed with the anti-theft system
If you want to activate the anti-theft system, you have to break the tab of the fixing base with pliers.

To remove a product with an activated anti-theft system, use a screwdriver to continuously push on the
tab and rotate the product.
Installation of the mounting base
Use the mounting base and the screws and plugs supplied with the detector.
The product can also be mounted using the adhesive fasteners.
For screw mounting :
Mark the preferred location of the screw holes on the wall with a pencil. The drawing on the inside of
the base shows the final position of the detector when attached.
Insert the supplied nylon plugs and screw on the mounting base
In case of adhesive mounting :
Place the adhesive on the mounting base and press with your finger for 10 seconds.
Remove the adhesive protection and stick the mounting base to the wall. Push with your fingers for 10
seconds. Wait 30 seconds: The adhesive works!
Place your detector on the mounting base, then turn it a quarter turn to the right to secure it.
You should hear a "click", indicating that your detector is secured in its mounting base.
Check that your detector is securely mounted on the wall.

the detector is accidentally dropped.
Place your mobile mounting cradle on the back of the detector, then
turn it a quarter turn to the right to secure it. You should hear a "click"
sound, indicating that your detector is secured in its mobile mounting
base.
How to start the product
Activation
To start your product, power it via USB.
The product will initialize for 2 minutes (blue LED flashing).
Connection to LoRa network (optional)
During the initialization phase, the blue LED flashes during the network connection process. The blue LED
will remain on during the initialization period if the process was successful, otherwise it will be pink.
If the initial connection attempt failed, the product will automatically retry. If unsuccessful, the product
will automatically attempt to rejoin the network within a few minutes.
Turn off or reset the product
The detector has been designed for continuous use. If for any reason you need to turn off or reset your
product, unplug your product. Then wait at least 1 minute before plugging the product back in.
Initial calibration of the CO2 sensor (optional)
Why calibrate the product?
The CO2 level measurement is performed using infrared sensor technology (NDIR: non-dispersive
infrared). This optical technology has a drift that the product automatically compensates for using an
ABS (Automatic Baseline Correction) method, which eliminates the need for manual maintenance and
maintains performance throughout the product's lifetime.
This method is effective and reliable in a usual environment, where the CO2 level reaches its minimum
(400ppm) during a few hours (night and weekend for the premises, day in a room).
This calibration is performed automatically by the product, on average every 7 days.
How to calibrate the product?
You can also perform a manual calibration. To do so, please use the following procedure:
Place your product near an open window.
Press the central button of the product 6 times quickly
The blue LED will be on throughout the product calibration process (approximately 2 minutes). Once the
blue LED goes out, the recalibration is complete.

LED Air Quality Indicators
The LED indicator gives the user direct feedback on the measured CO2 level:
Red: Warning (CO2 > 1700ppm)
Orange: Average (CO2 between 1000 and 1700ppm)
Green: Good (CO2 < 1000ppm)
This indicator can be disabled using the NFC application or the online service. You can then press the
central button to get the air quality indication for 3 seconds.
The LED indicator can be configured to indicate the general air quality level calculated by the iZiAiR
algorithm. This algorithm uses all available measurements (fine particles, CO2, volatile organic
compounds, formaldehydes) to provide a global analysis.
Setting up the product in NFC
Refer to the specific documentation for the Nexelec Config Tool NFC mobile application.
