The Ecco Freeze (master) solution with Minion (beacon) uses two devices for the detection of tempera-
ture and humidity parameters, and provides for the installation of the beacon inside the cold chamber for
the detection of temperature and humidity parameters.

The Minion (beacon) should be placed near the
entrance of the cold room, on the roof of the cold
room in the center of the door, or on one of the ver-
tical sides of the door frame 10-15 cm from it .
The Minion transmits this information that the
Freeze device will read in real time and then trans-
mit to the central monitoring system.
To ensure the correct functioning of the solution
and correct positioning outside the cold room, we
use a signal detector that makes use of the BLE
Scanner application (downloadable in the App Sto-
re or Google Play) by placing it outside the cold
room with the Identication code for the Minion.
In addition to the Minion device code (for example
003BBB9), the application also reports the signal’s
power level (eg Fig. 3: -65). The further you move
away from the cold store, the more the power value
decreases. It is advisable to keep this value above
-70 (eg -70, -68, -60 ...).

Therefore, the ideal place to install the Freeze must respect these two conditions:
1. Visible Minion code in the application
2. Signal level above -70
As an additional verication of the correct connection between Freeze (master) and Minion (beacon), the
Freeze is equipped with an internal button (Fig. 4).
Once the Freeze is positioned with the above criteria, open the device and press the button indicated in
Fig. 4, within 20 ”, the green LED on the master lights, indicating the start of the test.

1. If within the next 20 ”there is a sequence of 5 consecutive ashes, then it means that the two
devices are in mutual coverage.
2. If, on the other hand, there is only a continuous illumination of the green LED, it means that the
two devices have not been connected.
In case 2, it is necessary to reposition the master in a position that guarantees less attenuation and grea-
ter power of the input signal to the master (-60, -50).
Wait 60 ”and then repeat the operation with the button request.

To view the data, you can congure the device at:

Warning:
In the case of abnormally functioning cells that generate a large amount of liquid condensate, pending
repair / normalization of the operation, it is necessary to protect the Minion of the Ecco Freeze with the
bag inside the package (Fig. 5) . With a strip of about 3 cm of double-sided adhesive, before placing the
sensor inside the cold room, lock the sensor inside the bag (Fig. 6).

3.1. Mobile App
3.1.1. Download the application
From the App Store or Google Play, download the Ealloora application:
Install the Ealloora application and receive the temperature and humidity measurement of the envi-
ronment you want to monitor on your mobile phone. If the predened thresholds are exceeded, you will
receive a notication in the application.
3.1.2. Register the device
• On the home screen of the application, click Registration.
• Fill in the required information.
• Click Conrm Registration.
• If you already have an Ealloora account, enter your email and password and click Sign in.
3.1.3. Associate device
• Device associated with the Serial Number:
• Enter the serial number written on the label on the back of the device.
• Give your device a name.
• Click on combine.

• In the future, to quickly associate other Ealloora devices, from the home page, click on +
