Thank you for selecting the electric wheelchair! You must read and understand the operating
instruction, especially the “safety instruction” part before you use the electric wheelchair of the
company. The main purpose of the operating instruction is to be familiar with the functions and
characters of the electric wheelchair of the company and how to operate it by the best mode. It
also includes some important safety information and maintenance information, as well as the
description of the possible problems in the driving process.
Keep the operating instrument on the electric wheelchair, because you may look up the
important information of use, safety and maintenance of electric wheelchair at any time, and you
can also acquire the relevant information of products of the company through the homepage of

All information, pictures, illustrations and specifications in the operating instruction are based
on the product information provided in printing the operating instrument, and all pictures and
illustrations are representative examples, but are not aimed at exactly describing each part of the

Safety instrucon - overview
1.1. Application scope
It is used as the wheelchair of the disabled, patient and the old and infirm who are difficult in
action. The maximum safe load of the electric wheelchair is 125 kg.
1.2. Instruction on driving safety
1). The user must be firstly familiar with its usage mode and operating mode before driving
the electric folding wheelchair, so memorize the chapter of the operating instruction.
2). Evaluate the personal physical health condition of the user firstly before driving, and it is
not appropriate to drive under the following circumstances: The patients with illness or discomfort
and visual impairment, especially the patients with unsound upper limb, acute tumor and heart
disease, pregnant or menstrual women, children (under 12 years old), and the patients with
inconvenient action or slow perception, unconsciousness, coma and poor blood circulation or
serious sensitive skin; The users who concern about own health firstly consult the physician
before using; The users who are equipped with the heart rate adjustor firstly consult the
physician before using.
3). Do not stop the wheelchair on the slope when driving;
4). Prohibit from riding the electric folding wheelchair for fear of danger after drinking, feeling
fatigued or taking medicine.
5). Avoid riding the electric folding wheelchair at night for fear of danger.
6). Confirm that the power is off firstly when getting on and off the electric folding wheelchair.
7). Do not ride the electric folding wheelchair on the motorway.
8). Do not connect any mechanical or electronic device on the electric folding wheelchair
privately for fear of personal injury.

9). Do not drive at the gradient of more than 8°. Do not span across the groove that the span
is more than 100 mm; Do not forcibly span across the step at the height of more than 40 mm.
10). Do not drives on the water-logged, frozen, moisten, slippery ground or saline-alkaline
land, and otherwise the accident and personal injury may be caused.
11). Do not combine with the vehicles each other, and otherwise the accident and personal
injury may be caused.
12). The electric folding wheelchair will be affected by operation under the specific
electromagnetic interference, such as security system or automatic door of general store.
13). Do not use the electric folding wheelchair to carry the articles or passengers.
14). Prohibit from climbing or driving along the edge of the road, and otherwise the vehicle
will be perpetually damaged.
15). Do not exceed the maximum bearing weight.
16). Do not take the automatic electric handrail for fear of overturning danger when driving
the electric wheelchair.
17). Do not make a turn at s curve or suddenly rotate for fear of overturning danger when
driving the electric wheelchair.
18). Charge the electric wheelchair fully firstly before using.
1.3. Instruction on safety precaution
1). Do not operate the wheelchair before the user does not fully read and understand the
user’s manual.
2). Do not drive after driving.
3). Do not leave the key on the wheelchair when it is not guarded.
4). The seat must be locked and fixed in place.
5). Be careful of slowing down when driving at the turning and on the uneven rock or soft
ground, or close to the slope, bulged ground and zone free from protective edge (such as
kerbside, vestibule and stairs).
6). Prohibit from changing the initial setting of wheelchair and refitting it.
7). Be careful of driving on the busy street, market or shopping center, prohibit from driving
on the unsafe zone and legally forbidden road, and consult the traffic rules of local government or
national agency on driving wheelchair.
8). Hold the handle by both hands and place two feet on the pedal in driving.
9). Prohibit from placing the wheelchair on the moving vehicle as seat.
10). When the wheelchair is transported on other vehicles, please ensure the safety of battery.
11). Do not back up on the uneven ramp or ground, and be careful of passing ramp.
12). Do not drive at night, in rainy day, snowfall day and haze day and strong wind day and
on the narrow road, uneven road, etc.
1.4. Instruction on practice
1). Take practice firstly before using the electric folding wheelchair.
2). Take practice in the wide and open area to avoid danger.
3). Practice items; Accelerate/decelerate/park/back up/turn/uphill and downhill, please take
more practices and be skilled.
4). Adjust the speed to the slowest speed firstly, and speed up according to the proficiency in
the initial practice.

5). It is suggested to be accompanied by the “carer” in the whole process to avoid danger and
accident in the initial practice and initial use.
6). The electric folding wheelchair is controlled by the user through fingers to move forward
and backward and turn left and right, and master the speed, so the user must be capable of:
Reading and understanding the operating instruction, distinguishing and evaluating the danger,
safety awareness and rapid reaction.

2.1. General overview of product
Working principle: The electric wheelchair is a power wheelchair supplied by battery energy
and controlled and driven by electronic device. The user can drive the wheelchair to move
through control device.
It mainly consists of the motor, battery, control system, wheel, seat, handrail, etc.
The folding mode is divided into automatic version and manual version, they are basically
consistent on the structure and outline, the main difference is that the manual version means that
the wheelchair is operated manually in folding and unfolding, and the automatic version means
that the wheelchair is folded and unfolded by wireless remote control instead of manual
operation. The overall design is characterized by modern leisure style, safety and comfort, simple
operation, carrying by folding, portability and firmness.
The total mass of the electric wheelchair is ≤ 32 kg.
The type of the electric wheelchair produced by the company is CLASS A (indoor), and the
applicable standard requirement in ISO 7176 is used in the performance index in the technical
requirement.
2.2. Description of structural composition and diagram
The electric wheelchair is mainly composed of the following parts: the upper controller, the
armrest bracket group, the seat main frame, the motor group, the front pedal, the front and rear
wheels, the anti-rolling wheel, the battery pack, and the push rod.

3.1. Description of operator’s ability:
3.1.1. The electric wheelchair is controlled by the user through fingers to move forward and
backward and turn left and right and folds and unfold, and master the speed, so the user must be
capable of:
- Be capable of reading and understanding the operating instruction
- Be capable of distinguishing and evaluating danger
- Have the safety awareness or follow the road safety specification
- Have the rapid reaction ability

Do not place the upper controller in a humid environment.
If the upper controller is wet, make sure it is completely dry before operating.
3.2.2. Instructions for each setting:
3.2.2.1. Power switch, press once to turn on the power, then press again to turn off the power.
3.2.2.2. Horn button key, press the key horn to sound, release the key horn to stop.
3.2.2.3. Speed display light, speed control button-, speed control button +, when the speed
control button + is pressed, the speed display light is displayed to the right, indicating that the
speed mode is entered; when the speed control button-is pressed, the speed display light is left

3.2.2.4. Direction control lever. When the direction control lever is moved forward, the car will
move forward. The larger the moving range is, the faster the speed will be; when the direction
control lever is moved backward, the car will move backward and the moving range will be

the car turns to the right, the greater the range of the movement, the faster the right turn; when
