erwendungszweck
Der BDLoad®dient zur Herstellung von Ober- und Unterkiefer Totalprothesen im Fräsverfahren
zur provisorischen und definitiven Versorgung.
Indikation
• Zahnlosigkeit beider iefer bei eugnather iefersituation
Kontraindikation
• Teilbezahnte iefersituation
• Dysgnathie
• Unverträglichkeit gegen einen der Bestandteile
Eine unsachgemäße erwendung des
BDLoad®
mit dem Ziel, die oben genannten
Indikationsgebiete zu erweitern, ist unzulässig.
Eine unsachgemäße erwendung des
BDLoad®
kann den zu versorgenden Patienten
gesundheitlich beeinträchtigen.
Kennzeichnung
Auf dem BDLoad®sind rückseitig auf einem rückstandslos ablösbaren Primäretikett verschiedene
ennzeichnungen aufgebracht.

Tip:
Im 2. Quadranten des Oberkiefer BDLoad®(bzw. im 4. Quadranten des Unterkiefer BDLoad®)
ist eine Formbezeichnung eingebracht, die ähnlich der Größenangabe des Primäretikettes auf-
gebaut ist (Größe/Zähne). Diese dient lediglich der internen Rückverfolgbarkeit der BDLoad®bei
Merz Dental. Im Falle eines Verlusts des Primäretikettes kann mittels dieser ennzeichnung die
Größe und die verwendeten Zahnformen des BDLoad®abgelesen werden.

Zusammensetzung
• Vernetzte Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA) Copolymere
• Pigmente (vornehmlich Eisen- und Titanoxide)
• Dibenzoylperoxid kann als Restperoxid < 1% enthalten sein
• Methylmethacrylat (MMA) kann als Restmonomer < 1% enthalten sein
erwendung ist nur durch geschultes Fachpersonal zulässig.
Digitale Konstruktion
• Die onstruktion und Generierung der Prothesenbasis erfolgt mit der BDCreator®Software.
• Eine Mindestwandstärke von 2 mm wird softwareseitig vorgegeben.
Maschinelle Bearbeitung
Sowohl Nass- als auch Trockenfräsverfahren mit geeignetem Spannsystem sind möglich.
Vor der Bearbeitung ist die ompatibilität mit dem jeweiligen Maschinenhersteller zu klären.
• Der BDLoad®kann nur in einer vom jeweiligen Maschinenhersteller für diese Geometrie
freigegebenen Spannvorrichtung verwendet und gefräst werden.
• Die maschinelle Bearbeitung des BDLoad®erfolgt mit einer speziellen CAM-Software und
mit Fräsern, die zur Bearbeitung von PMMA geeignet sind.
• Zahnform, BDLoad®-Größe und Farbe sind auf dem Primäretikett des BDLoad®
angebracht und müssen mit den Angaben in der Software übereinstimmen.
Ausarbeitung nach dem Fräsvorgang
• Zum Heraustrennen und Nachbearbeiten von Prothesenbasen aus dem BDLoad®sollten für
unststoff geeignete kreuzverzahnte Hartmetallfräser verwendet werden.
• Um Passungenauigkeiten nach der Erstellung zu vermeiden, sollte während des Ausarbeitens
und Polierens starke Wärmeentwicklung vermieden werden.
• Eine Mindestwandstärke von 1,5 mm sollte bei dünn auslaufenden Flächen nach dem
Ausarbeiten möglichst nicht unterschritten werden.
Wiederherstellung
Prothesenbasen, die aus dem BDLoad®gefertigt worden sind, können mit altpolymerisaten
auf der Basis von MMA wie z. B. Weropress®oder Combipress N in der Farbe BDLoad®pink
jederzeit wiederhergestellt, ergänzt oder unterfüttert werden. Eine vorherige onditionierung der
Oberfläche mit artConnect ist erforderlich.
Lagerung
• Zum Schutz der integrierten Zahnreihen ist der BDLoad®in der Verpackung zu lagern.
• Vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung schützen.
Besondere Hinweise
• Die LOT-Nr. ist bei jedem Vorgang anzugeben, der eine Identifikation des Materials erfordert,
zwecks Rückverfolgbarkeit muss das ablösbare Etikett aufbewahrt werden.
• BDLoad®nach Ablauf des angegebenen Haltbarkeitsdatums nicht mehr verwenden.

Gefahrenhinweise
• Bei der Bearbeitung des BDLoad®können Stäube entstehen, die zur Reizung von Augen, Haut
und Atemwegen führen können. Achten Sie daher immer auf ein einwandfreies Funktionieren
der Absauganlage sowohl an Ihrer Fräsmaschine als auch bei der Ausarbeitung und Politur
mit einem Handstück oder der Poliereinheit.
• Die Verwendung von persönlicher Schutzausrüstung ist gemäß Sicherheitsdatenblatt zu
beachten.
• Eine unsachgemäße Verwendung des BDLoad®mit dem Ziel, die oben genannten Indikations-
gebiete zu erweitern, ist unzulässig.
• Eine unsachgemäße Verwendung des BDLoad®kann den zu versorgenden Patienten
gesundheitlich beeinträchtigen.
• Der Einsatz von nicht autorisierten Systemkomponenten in Verbindung mit dem
Baltic Denture System ist unzulässig.

Bereich Service abrufbar.

Entsorgung
Der BDLoad®ist wasserunlöslich, inaktiv, birgt keine Gefahr für das Grundwasser und kann daher
im normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Die Produkteigenschaften basieren auf Einhaltung und Beachtung dieser
Gebrauchsinformation.

Intended use
BDLoad®serves to fabricate upper and lower jaw full dentures by milling for temporary and final
restorations.
Indication
• Edentulism of both jaws with a eugnathic jaw situation
Contraindication
• Partially edentulous jaw situation
• Dysgnathia
• Intolerance to one of the components
Improper use of
BDLoad®
with the aim of extending the above indication areas is
inadmissible.
Improper use of
BDLoad®
can impair the health of the patients treated.
Identification
Various identifiers are to be found on a detachable primary label without leaving any residue on
the back of BDLoad®.

Tip:
A shape identifier is marked in the 2nd quadrant of the BDLoad®in the upper jaw (or BDLoad®
lower jaw in the 4th quadrant), which is similar to the size specification of the primary label
(Size/teeth). This serves solely for internal traceability of the BDLoad®at Merz Dental. In the event
of loss of the primary label, this identifier allows the size and the tooth shape of the BDLoad®used
to be read.

Composition
• Cross-linked polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) copolymers
• Pigments (primarily iron and titanium oxide)
• Dibenzoylperoxide may be contained as residual peroxide < 1%
• Methylmethacrylate (MMA) may be contained as residual monomer < 1%.
Use is only admissible by trained technical personnel.
Digital design
• The denture base is designed and generated using the BDCreator®software.
• A minimum wall thickness of 2 mm is specified by the software.
Machine processing
Both wet and dry milling processes are possible with the suitable clamping system.
Compatibility should be clarified with the respective machine manufacturer prior to processing.
• BDLoad®can only be used and milled in a clamping device approved by the respective
machine manufacturer for this geometry.
• BDLoad®is machine processed using special CAM software and with burs suitable for
processing PMMA.
• Tooth shape, BDLoad®size and shade are stated on the BDLoad®primary marking and must
match the specifications in the software.
Trimming following the milling process
• Cross-cut carbide burs suitable for resin should be used to separate and rework denture
bases from the BDLoad®.
• To prevent inaccurate fitting after production, avoid excessive heat development during
trimming and polishing.
• The wall thickness for tapered thin surfaces following finishing should not be below a
minimum of 1.5 mm if possible.
Restoration
Denture bases produced from BDLoad®can be restored, supplemented or lined at any time
with MMA-based cold-curing polymers, such as Weropress®or Combipress N in the shade
BDLoad®pink.
Storage
• BDLoad®has to be stored in the packaging to protect the integrated row of teeth.
• Protect against direct sunlight.
Special notes
• Record the LOT number with every process that requires identification of the material;
the detachable label must be kept for the purposes of traceability.
• Do not use BDLoad®after the specified expiration date.

Risk phrases
• Processing BDLoad®generates dust that can irritate the eyes, skin and airways. Therefore
always ensure that the extraction on your milling machine and for finishing and polishing
with a handpiece or polishing unit is working correctly.
• The use of personal protective equipment in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet
must be observed.
• Improper use of BDLoad®with the aim of extending the above indication areas is inadmissible.
• Improper use of BDLoad®can impair the health of the patients treated.
• The use of non-authorised system components in conjunction with the Baltic Denture System
is inadmissible.

Disposal
BDLoad®is water-insoluble, inactive, does not pose a threat to groundwater and may therefore be
disposed of with normal household waste.
The product properties are based on compliance with the instructions for use.
