SNAKE
Beyond the ordinary
Analog effect unit that has both memory and recall
functions for all possible settings; MIDI interface.
This allows the artist to configure the effect for the
preferred sounds via the 15 parameters.
It is a step up for the analog guitar effects as it
introduces an analog-digital architecture that
works in the analog domain and that is controlled
by a digital processor.
The memorized settings can be recalled via the two
footswitches, CNT1 and CNT2, or via a MIDI
connection.
These 2 important characteristics, digital control,
and remote MIDI control, make it one of the most
innovative guitar effect within the market.
A preset is composed of the 15 parameters, each
preset can be memorized using the SET
pushbutton; keep pressed until the “WR” appears
on the display.
A 10 preset memory is available.
PARAMETERS
15 adjustable parameters are available:
All the parameters can be adjusted using the
LEVEL and PARM knobs; using the PARM knob you
can select the parameter you wish to modify, using
the LEVEL knob you can set the value of the
selected parameter.
A maximum of ten presets can be saved; you can recall them
sequentially, using the footswitch CNT2.
Press the CNT1 to toggle the BYPASS and the selected preset,
press the CNT2 to change the preset up and down.
Keep pressed the CNT2 to go back into the preset sequence.

There are 3 parameter pages: the DELAY, the
CHORUS and the “Routing/Tone” pages.
Every page contains the parameters
associated to the 3 parts of the effect: the
Delay, the Chorus and the “routing and tone”
unit.

DELAY
The first row shows the delay time, you can set it
using the LEVEL knob, step=1mS; to set large
delays use the TAP sequence, then adjust the time
you want using the LEVEL knob.
MOD: add a mild pitch modulation on the delayed
signal; characterize the MOD using DPT and WAV
controls
FDB: delay feedback
MIX: delay intensity
LVA: signal level of the output A
The first row shows the chorus time period ,you can
set it using the LEVEL knob, step=10mS, from 0.1
seconds to 5 seconds.
DPT: depth of the chorus effect (modulation deep)
WAV: modulation waveform (sine/triangle/square)
MIX: chorus intensity
LVB: signal level of the output B
OUT: which types of signals you send through the
A and B outputs
●DSC: the delay and the chorus are connected
in series
●DPC: the delay and the chorus are connected
in parallel (sum)
●DS+: the delay and the input signals are
summed at the output, the mixing is controlled
by the “level A” and the “level B” parameters.
●CS+: the chorus and the input signals are
summed at the output, the mixing is controlled
by the “level A” and the “level B” parameters.
TRB: the HIGH tone level
MID: the MID tone level
BAS: the BASS tone level
LOU: the LOUDNESS tone level

WARNING: if you select the DS+ or the CS+
mode, some distortions can occur, to avoid any
distortion you have to adjust the A and B level
parameters at the appropriate values.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Always refer to a qualified personnel when
servicing is required. Don’t expose the effect to
moisture or rain and don’t use it near water; the
operating ambient temperature must be lower
than 50 degrees (Celsius).
Avoid to apply power supply voltages higher than
12V, no objects filled with liquids should be placed
on the effect.
Clean the effect only with dry clothes.
SERVICE & WARNING
When in delay page, keep pressing CNT1
for at least 3 seconds; a “TTT” will appear,
then press the CNT1 footswitches at the
time rate you want. Confirm the new delay
time pressing the CNT2 footswitch.
Using the LEVEL knob you can set the time
division (TP): 1, 1/2, 1/4. 1/8 and 1/16.
To assign a preset to a MIDI program
command, simply:
●Send the MIDI program change (Cn)
●Set the preset number and the preset
parameters
●Keep the “SET” pushbutton pressed
until the ”MD” appears on the display
To change the MIDI address, press CNT1
before the power supply is connected and
keep it pressed during power up; the
display will show all the 16 available
addresses, one every 2-3 seconds. Release
the footswitch CNT1 when the selected
address is displayed. The “SET”
pushbutton must be pressed to memorize
the new address, until the “WR” appears
on the display.
