Introduction
TheLEDpowersupplyisadedicatedLEDdrivingdevicethatdeliversaconstantcurrent/voltageorgeneratesan
adjustablecurrentcontrolledbyanexternaldimmertoLEDs.Dependingonitstypesordesignconcept,someof
themnotonlyhavePFCcapabilitybutalsocanbelocatedinaharshenvironmentsuchasdusty,humidplaces.
MeanWell’sLEDpowersuppliesincludemetalcase,plasticcase,andPCBtypes.
Installation
（1）Beforecommencinganyinstallationormaintenancework,pleasedisconnectthepowersupplyfromtheutility.
Ensurethatitcannotbere‐connectedinadvertently!
（2）Keepproperventilationaroundtheunitanddonotstackanyobjectonit.Alsoa10‐15cmclearancemustbe
keptwhentheadjacentdeviceisaheatsource.
（3）Mountingorientationsotherthanstandardorientationoroperateunderhighambienttemperaturemay
increasetheinternalcomponenttemperatureandwillrequireade‐ratinginoutputcurrent.Pleasereferto
thespecificationsheettoreceivetheoptimummountingpositionandinformationaboutthede‐ratingcurve.
（4）Currentratingofanapprovedprimary/secondarycableshouldbegreaterthanorequaltothatoftheunit.
Pleaserefertoitsspecification.
（5）ForLEDpowersupplieswithwaterproofconnectors,verifythatthelinkagebetweentheunitandthelighting
fixtureistightsothatwatercannotintrudeintothesystem.
（6）FordimmableLEDpowersupplies,makesurethatyourdimmingcontrolleriscapableofdriving
theseunits.ForELNseries,either“D”or“P”type,require40mAeachunit;forthosewith“3in1”dimming
function,e.g.HLGandLPFseries,require0.15mAeachunit.
（7）Wiring:Thewirecolorwillvarybycountry,pleaserefertothetablebelow.
