2. General description
The SOLID CONTROL MCK 2000 electronic control is designed for application on
dual-fan centrifugal fertilizer spreaders, and its main purpose is to adjust the
distribution concentration of the product.
The control performs its function using two electric motor-actuators, which regulate
the opening and closing of the fertiliser distribution slits. The SOLID CONTROL
foresees the adjustment of the concentration both automatically with DPA system,
and manually through operator management. It is possible to differentiate the
concentration by areas, by varying the flow of product flowing to the rotating discs.
The monitor uses the LCD display, back-lit for night vision, to display the following
quantities:
Product concentration in Kg/ha;
Total quantity of distributed product expressed in Kg;
feed-rate of the tractor in Km/h;
Partial area worked in ha;
Total area worked in ha;
Rotating speed of the PTO in RPM;
working hours.
On request, the monitor can equipped with an optional RS 232 serial port to which a
specific printer can be connected or communicate with other equipment that use the
same communication standard (to be agreed with the MC Elettronica Technical
Department).
