Tel-Time Talking Analog Watch
(Item #702430 & 702435)
The Tel-Time Talking Analog Watch allows you to hear the time at the press of a button,
or see it displayed on its analog face. The watch hands automatically synchronize with
the digital time you set for the talking function.Asingle battery and a quartz crystal
ensure that both the voice and the watch hands keep accurate time.

Button Functions:
S1 - “Two O’clock Button”: Press for Time Announcement
S2 - “Four O’clock Button”: Minute Set
S3 - “Eight O’clock Button”: Hour Set
Note: Use a pen or other pointed tool to press the S2 and S3 buttons.
Set the Time
The following procedure guides you in setting the time announcement. After this time is
set, the analog hands will automatically run to match the time you set.
1. Press S3 (8 o’clock button) while the watch is in the Time Keeping mode to set Hour.
Every press of the button advances the hour by one. Listen carefully to the watch to
make sure the right AM or PM time has been set.
2. Press S2 (4 o’clock button) to set Minute. Every press of the button advances the
minute by one.
3. Press S1 once to confirm the time set (or the watch will confirm by itself after 30
seconds).
4. Once you confirm the time set, the watch will begin to run fast and automatically
synchronize itself with the time you set in steps 1-3.
5. When the watch resumes normal running, the analog time should match the spoken
time. If they don’t match, go to “Synchronize Hands to Match Time Announcement”.

Manual Setting of Analog Time
Match Time Announcement:
In the event you have difficulty with the synchronization function of your watch, the
analog time may also be manually set to match the time announcement.
To manually set the analog time:
1. Follow “Set the Time” instructions as shown above and wait until the hands resume
normal running.
2. Listen to the announced time
3. Pull out the watch crown, turn it to set the analog hands to match the announced time
4. Push in the crown to start the watch running again
Synchronize Hands to Match Time Announcement
1. Pull out the crown of the watch when the Second hand runs to 12:00:00 o’clock
so that the second hand stops at 12 o’clock. If you miss the 12 o’clock, you need
to wait for the next chance.
2. Turn the crown of the watch to set Hour and Minute hands pointing at 12
o’clock
3. Now, the Hour, Minute and Second hands should all be pointing at 12 o’clock
with the Crown pulled out
4. Hold S1 (2 o’clock button) for at least 5 seconds
5. Push in the Crown
6. The watch hands will run to match the announced time
7. Please wait until the watch resumes normal running
8. After the watch resumes normal running, press S1 (2 o’clock button) once to
check if the time announcement and watch hands are synchronized. If they are
synchronized, you have successfully set the watch. If not, repeat Step 1 to 8.
Troubleshooting
Watch is running one step every 2 seconds
When the battery level is low the watch runs 2 step every 2 seconds. Replace the battery.
(Note: When the battery is low, the time announcement function will be disabled.)
Time announcement is different from the analog time of the watch
You need to synchronize hands to match with the time announcement. Go to
“Synchronize Hands to Match Time Announcement” for details.

Battery Change
There is only one CR2025 type battery inside the watch. This battery is used to drive both
the voice announcement and the gearbox.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is recommended that battery replacement be done by a jeweller
or a trained watch specialist to avoid possible damage to the watch.
1. Open the watch at the back. Carefully remove the bottom, making sure not to lose the
waterproof seal.
2. Pick up the battery spring on the right.
3. Take out the battery and insert a new one (watch the polarity!”+”up).
4. Now push the battery spring down.
5. Before you put the case-back on again, make sure the waterproof seal is correctly in
place.
6. After battery replacement, the time will have to be re-set. Go to “Set the Time”.
