Introduction
The DSS45 is a versatile, user friendly, compact, feature-rich
Operator Console. The DSS45 is an effective tool to manage calls
efficiently. The DSS45 is extensively used in offices, factories,
hotels, hospitals and other business establishments to increase
productivity. The DSS45 is shown in the figure below.
DSS stands for Direct Station Selection and since it houses 45
keys it is named as DSS45.

The DSS45 offers following features:
• A 2-line X 16 character adjustable LCD
• Twenty five programmable keys for direct station selection/trunk
access/features.
• LEDs to show status of extensions
• Hot Keypad
• Speaker Phone
• Headset connectivity
• Adjustable ringer type and ringer volume
• Adjustable speech transmit and receive levels

internal).
• The DSS45 offers Auto-Answer facility.
• The DSS45 offers different ring cadences for used for different
occasions, hence it is easy to guess the caller type before you
answer the call.
• The DSS45 allows to use call waiting facility of the CO exchange.
• The DSS45 can be interfaced with Team/Focus/Empire.

• Get satisfied with the contents and the condition of all the parts.
In case of short supply or damaged parts, please contact the
source from where you purchased the system.
• Place DSS45 on a non-slip surface.
• Do not expose DSS45 to direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
• Use DSS45 at temperatures between +5°C (41°F) and +55°C
(131°F).
• Make sure that DSS45 is at least one meter away from any radio
equipment, such as pagers, television sets, device containing
coils, otherwise its performance may be impaired.
• Avoid placing DSS45 in rooms where there is lot of dust, since
this shortens its useful life.
• To clean DSS45, wipe it with a damp or antistatic cloth. Never
use dry cloth (since this can generate electrostatic charges and
discharges) or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Do not plug/unplug DSS45 with the system in power-ON
condition. This may damage DSS45. Warranty does not cover
such damages.
