The lightning flash symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended

maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying
the appliance.

MOBILE CONNECTIVITY
You can remotely view camera streams from your DVR on your iPhone™ or Windows Mobile 6™
device.
Compatible Mobile Viewing Devices
• iPhone (3.1.2 and above)
• Windows Mobile 6.0 devices or later (touch screen only)
Instant Mobile Viewing on an iPhone™
• Free download available from the Apple App Store ™ under the name “Lorex Live”. Compatible
with iPhone version 3.1.2 and above. Selectable one channel live viewing. Mobile phone data
plan is required (not included). Router port forwarding is required.
NOTE: You must create an Apple iTunes™ account before you can download and install
applications from the Apple AppStore. A valid credit card number is required to create an iTunes
account.The Lorex Live App is provided free of charge and therefore your credit card will not
be charged for this download.
Instant Mobile Viewing on Windows Mobile™ 6.0 and above
• Free download available from Lorex web site. Selectable one channel live viewing. Mobile
phone data plan is required (not included). Router port forwarding is required.
Before You Begin
You will need the following before you can start mobile viewing on your iPhone or Windows Mobile
device:
• Your DVR’s IP or DDNS address
To find your DVR’s IP address, press (Menu button) twice on the remote.
Refer to Appendix B, "Setting Up Local and Remote Viewing" on page 44 of your owner’s manual
for details on how to obtain a DDNS address.
• The Port Number of your DVR
Refer to Appendix B, "How Do I Enable Port Forwarding?" on page 43 of your owner’s manual
for details on port forwarding, and retrieving your system’s port number.
By default, the port number is 80.
• User name and Password of your DVR
By default, the DVR user name is 9; password is 3333.

Mobile Connectivity on the iPhone
To connect to your DVR using the iPhone, you need to download and install the Lorex Live
application.
NOTE: You may see an iTunes registration prompt window when attempting to access the App
Store via your iPhone or computer. Simply register for an iTunes account to log in to the App
Store.
Downloading the Lorex Live Application
To download the Lorex Live application using your iPhone:
1. Touch the (App Store) icon to open the App Store.
2. Touch the Search icon on the bottom of the screen. Search for Lorex Live and then touch the
Search button.
3. Touch the FREE button, then touch Install to download and install the program.
• The App will install on your iPhone and you will see the following Lorex Live icon on your
application list:
Connecting To Your DVR
To connect to your DVR on your iPhone:
1. Touch (Lorex Live) to start the application. The Setup screen appears.
2. Enter your DVR’s IP address or DDNS address, Port Number, ID and Password.

3. Touch the blue Connect button on the top right corner of the screen. The iPhone connects to
your DVR and displays a streaming video in a single channel view (Figure 12).

Mobile Connectivity on Windows Mobile
To connect to your DVR using Windows Mobile smartphones, you need to download and install the
Mobile View application.
To download Mobile View:
1. Go to www.lorexcctv.com and search for LH3xx (where xx is your model # ie. LH314).
Download the Mobile View application.
2. Install the Mobile View application. See your smartphone’s owner’s manual for program
installation procedures.
NOTE: The Moble View application is a .CAB file. Do not unzip the file.
Connecting to your DVR using Mobile View
To start Mobile View:
1. Touch the (Mobile View) icon in the Start menu.
2. Enter your DVR’s IP address or DDNS address, Port Number, User name and Password.
3. Touch the Connect button to begin live viewing.
