2. Fonction Add Rallye (temps partiels)

Elle mesure des événements successifs, mais non les intervalles qui les

séparent. Chaque résultat s’ajoute au précédent. Pour chronométrer

les différentes étapes d’un rallye automobile, procédez comme suit:

1) Au départ de la première étape, appuyez sur le poussoir A. Le chro-

nographe démarre.

2) A la ﬁn de la première étape, appuyez à nouveau sur le poussoir A.

Le chronographe s’arrête.

Agissez de même pour chaque étape du rallye. A la ﬁn de la dernière

étape, le chronographe indique le temps total du rallye, autrement dit le

temps cumulé de toutes les étapes.

Appuyez sur le poussoir B pour remise à zéro.

La couronne à 2 positions

1. En position poussée

Remontage: Les mouvements naturels de votrepoignet remontent

automatiquement votrechronographe Longines, qui dispose d’une

réserve de marche de 46 heures. Le remontage manuel n’est néces-

saireque si vous cessez de porter votrechronographe pendant plu-

sieurs jours.

Comment utiliser votre chronographe Longines

Votre chronographe est un garde-temps précis, ﬁable et d’usage quo-

tidien. Il est équipé du mouvement automatique Longines L696, il est

étanche et doté d’une glace saphir.

Utilisé comme montre, ce chronographe indique les heures, les

minutes, les secondes et la date.

Dans sa fonction chronographe, ce modèle peut chronométrer des évé-

nements d’une durée allant jusqu’à 12 heures, tout en afﬁchant les

résultats au 1/5e de seconde.

Les fonctions chronographe réalisables sont:

– Fonction standardStart – Stop

– Fonction Add Rallye (temps partiels)

1. Fonction standard Start – Stop

Chronométrage d’un événement isolé:

1) Appuyez sur le poussoir A: le chronographe démarre.

2) Appuyez sur le poussoir A: le chronographe s’arrête.

3) Appuyez sur le poussoir B pour la remise à zéro.

2. En position extrême

Mise à l’heure et stop seconde: Tirer la couronne en position extrê-

me, l’aiguille du cadran (petite seconde) est stoppée.

Effectuer la mise à l’heure en tournant la couronne dans le sens désiré.

Au top horaire (téléphone, radio, TV), repousser la couronne à fond.

Le correcteur de la date: Le poussoir correcteur de la date est situé

à 10 heures. Appuyer à l’aide d’une pointe douce sur le correcteur pour

positionner la date exacte.

Attention: Ne corrigez jamais la date entre 20.30 et 23.00 h, ceci pour

ne pas détériorer le mécanisme.

Important: En cas de panne de votre chronographe, ne le conﬁer qu’à

un concessionnaire Longines.

Précautions concernant l’étanchéité

Votrechronographe est étanche, mais à la suite d’un choc, il peut

perdreson étanchéité sans que vous vous en rendiez compte.

L’étanchéité doit êtrevériﬁée lors de son contrôle périodique.

3) Drücker B: Zeiger geht in Nullstellung zurück.

2. Rallye-Funktion (Einzelzeitenaddition)

Misst aufeinanderfolgende Ereignisse, jedoch nicht die einzelnen Inter-

valle. Jedes Ergebnis wird dem vorherigen hinzugerechnet. Für die

Zeitmessung verschiedener Runden-Zeiten gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

1) Beim Start der ersten Etappe betätigen Sie Drücker A. Die Zeit-

messung startet.

2) Am Ende der ersten Etappe betätigen Sie erneut den Drücker A. Die

Zeitmessung stoppt.

Gehen Sie dann genauso bei jeder weiteren Etappe der Rallye vor. Am

Ende der letzten Etappe zeigt der Chronograph dann die Gesamtzeit

des Rennens an, also die Summe der Einzelzeiten aller Runden.

Betätigen Sie Drücker B, um den Chronographen auf Null zurück-

zustellen.

Die 2Positionen der Krone

1. Eingeschobene Stellung

Aufziehen: Die natürlichen Bewegungen Ihres Handgelenks ziehen

Ihren Longines-Chronographen, der über eine Gangreserve von 46

Stunden verfügt, automatisch auf. Ein manuelles Aufziehen ist daher

nur erforderlich, wenn Sie die Uhr mehrere Tage nicht tragen.

Hinweise zur Verwendung

Ihres

Longines Chronographen

Ihr Longines-Chronograph ist ein präziser und zuverlässiger, für den

täglichen Gebrauch bestimmter Zeitmesser. Er ist wasserdicht und mit

dem mechanischen Automatikkaliber Longines L696 sowie einem

kratzfesten Saphiruhrglas ausgestattet.

In seiner Eigenschaft als Uhr gibt er die Stunden, die Minuten, die

Sekunden und das Datum an.

Als Chronograph kann dieses Modell Ereignisse einer Dauer von bis zu

12 Stunden messen, wobei die kleinste Anzeigeeinheit 1/5 Sekunde

beträgt.

Folgende Messungen können damit vorgenommen werden:

–Start/Stop-Funktion (Standard)

– Rallye-Funktion (Einzelzeitenaddition)

1. Standardfunktion: Start/Stop

Zeitmessung eines einzigen Ereignisses:

1) Drücker A: die Zeitmessung startet.

2) Drücker A: die Zeitmessung stoppt.

2. Auf Endstellung herausgezogene Position

Einstellen der Uhrzeit und Sekundenstopp: Krone völlig heraus-

ziehen; der kleine Sekundenzeiger wird gestoppt.

Zeit einstellen, indem man die Krone im gewünschten Sinn dreht.

Beim entsprechenden Zeitzeichen (Telefon, Radio, TV), Krone wieder

hineindrücken.

Der Datum-Korrekturdrücker: Der Korrekturdrücker für das Einstel-

len des Datums beﬁndet sich leicht versenkt bei 10 Uhr auf dem Mittel-

teil des Uhrgehäuses. Betätigen Sie ihn mit einem spitzen, nicht zu har-

ten Stift, um das gewünschte Datum einzustellen (1x drücken = 1 Tag).

Achtung: Datum nie zwischen 20.30 und 23.00 Uhr abends kor-

rigieren, um den Mechanismus nicht zu beschädigen.

Wichtig: Im Störungsfall sollten Sie Ihren Chronographen ausschliess-

lich einem Vertragshändler des Hauses Longines anvertrauen.

Vorsichtsmassnahmen bezüglich der Wasserdichtigkeit

Ihr Chronograph ist wasserdicht. Allerdings kann die Uhr nach einem

Stoss ihreDichtheit einbüssen, ohne dass Sie es merken. Daher sollte

die Dichtheit anlässlich der periodischen Kontrolle stets überprüft wer-

den.

2. Add Rally Function

For timing successive events while ignoring the intervals between them.

Each result accumulates. For example: timing the stages of a car rally:

1) At the start of the ﬁrst stage, press button A to start the chronograph.

2) At the end of the ﬁrst stage, press button A again to stop the chrono-

graph.

Repeat the process for each stage. At the end of the ﬁnal stage the

chronograph will show the total rally time.

Press button B to zero the chronograph.

The 2-position crown

1. Pushed in against the case

Winding: The natural movements of your wrist wind your Longines

chronograph while you wear it. Fully wound, it has a power reserve of

about 46 hours. Rewind the watch manually if it has stopped through

not being worn.

2. Pulled right out

Setting the time to the second: The small seconds-hand stops when

you pull the crown out as far as it will go.

How to use your Longines chronograph

Your chronograph is a precise and reliable timepiece for everyday use.

It is driven by a Longines L696 automatic movement. The watch is

water-resistant and has a sapphire glass.

As a watch, the chronograph shows the hours, minutes, seconds and

the date.

Using the chronograph, you can time events lasting up to 12 hours to

the nearest ﬁfth of a second.

Chronograph functions comprise:

– StandardStart-Stop-Zero function

– Add Rally function (accumulated times)

1. Standard Start-Stop-Zero function

When timing a single event:

1) Press button A to start the chronograph.

2) Press button A again to stop the chronograph.

3) Press button B to reset to zero.

Set the hours and minutes by turning the crown any direction.

To restart the seconds at a broadcast or telephone time signal, push the

crown back in against the case.

Date corrector: The date correction pushpiece is located at the 10

o’clock position. Use a soft point to press down on the corrector to

select the precise date.

Important: Never change the date when the time shows between 8.30

pm and 11.00 pm, to avoid damaging the movement.

Important: Should your chronograph need repair,it should be sent to

aLongines agent only.

Making sure your watch is water-resistant

Your chronograph is water-resistant. But if it receives a blow, it may lose

its water-resistance without you realizing it. Ask for its water-resistance

to be checked when you have your watch serviced.
