Safety Instructions
Before you use this device for the first time, please
read the following notes in this manual and heed
all warnings, even if you are familiar with handling
electronic devices. Keep this manual in a safe
place for future reference. If you sell the device or
pass it on, it is essential that you also hand over
this manual.
This icon denotes important information
for the safe operation of the product and
for the user’s safety.
The minimum distance to any lighted
surfaces must be 50 cm (19.7 inches).
Every broken protective cover must be
replaced.

LED Radiation! Avoid harm to the eyes! Never
look into the LED beam. If you suspect any eye
damage, consult a doctor.
The protective glass of the reflector becomes
very hot in halogen light mode. There is a risk
of injury upon touching it! Never cover the
reflector while using the device otherwise
overheating may occur!
Never use any optical devices such as a
magnifying lens to look directly into the light
beam as you may damage your eyes.
Electrical devices do not belong in the hands of
children. Do not allow children to play with
electrical devices when not under supervision.
Children may not understand that they can be
dangerous. Keep the packaging away from
children too as there is danger of suffocation.
If smoke, unusual noises or smells are noticed,
switch off the device immediately. Do not
inhale any smoke originating from a device fire
to avoid damage to your respiratory tract. If this
occurs the device should no longer be used
and should be inspected by authorized service
personnel.
Make sure that the housing of the flashlight, of
the charger WJB-Y41120500D and of the car
adapter do not become damaged as there is
danger of electric shock. Stop using the
flashlight immediately if you find any cables

damaged.
The supplied devices do not contain any parts
that require user maintenance. Never open the
housing of the devices otherwise they can be
damaged.
The supplied charger WJB-Y41120500D and
the supplied car charger must be used to
recharge the built-in battery of the flashlight
only. The charger WJB-Y41120500D must not
be used for continuous power supply. Never
connect the charger WJB-Y41120500D or the
car charger to other devices. Only recharge the
built-in battery of your flashlight using the
supplied charger WJB-Y41120500D or the
supplied car adapter.
This flashlight has not been designed for use
on vehicles. It must not be used as a
replacement for a bicycle or motorbike
headlamp.
Always make sure that:
no direct heat sources (e.g. radiators) can affect
the device;
no direct sunlight or bright artificial light reach the
device;
contact with abrasive liquids must be avoided
and the appliance should never be operated near
water. It must especially never be immersed;
the device should not be subject to excessive
shocks and vibrations.

When not following the above warnings the device
may become damaged.
Intended Use
The Rechargeable Battery Flashlight LHS 55 A1,
hereafter called “flashlight” can be used as a
mobile light beamer for hobbies, leisure or
camping. The supplied charger WJB-Y41120500D
allows you to recharge the built-in battery when a
wall outlet is available. The car adapter allows you
to recharge the battery from your vehicle.
This flashlight is not intended for commercial use.
The device fulfils all relevant norms and standards
associated with CE Conformity. Any modifications
to the device other than recommended changes by
the manufacturer may result in these standards no
longer being met.
